I started working in Mamaroneck 3 years ago and up until this year I hadn't gone to Stanz. I don't know why no one had told me sooner about this place! The sandwich's are like your typical Italian deli sandwich but with a modern twist. There is all different kinds of breads to choose from. Legendary Larchmont cafe. Everyone in this town knows Stanz Cafe and with good reason. Great, rustic decor with gourmet level creations for breakfast and lunch. Coffee is fantastic. My favorite breakfast is the Soft Fried Eggs, Grilled Corned Beef, Gruyere, Grain Mustard, Open Faced Rustic Toast. That mustard has a kick and makes the sandwich unique and delicious. Even though Stan'z isn't in my backyard, I found myself there fairly regularly in my early Yelping days since my brother went to school in the area. After a few tries though I stopped going - not due to anything the restaurant did, I just stopped coming to the area.
