“The restaurant is very unique and the food is very much outside the norm. I personally have enjoyed everything I've ordered. The service is great and very friendly, except for the Barista. I believe his name is Fernando and he's very rude and seems miserable every time I have to interact with him. He makes great coffee but is definitely suited for a job in the back of the house where he does not have to interact with customers.“

“Make no mistake the staff is rude and always makes you feel like a burden but they have a saving grace that can be summed up in two words, blueberry muffins. Even though I feel abused and battered after every interpersonal interaction with staff and, for that matter, their clientele who are more than a bit snooty in my estimation, damn if it's not worth it for a pecan blueberry muffin or a blueberry crumb muffin or pretty much any muffin of theirs of the blueberry variety.“

“In a quest to find “REAL “ whitefish salad, I followed a friend’s suggestion and tried Cafe 17A. Amazing! This past weekend I tried several other salads- Vegetable Tuna, Chicken Salad, Egg whites and spinach, Egg salad and mushrooms and of course sliced Nova and home made cream cheeses. My guests raved! Everything is fresh, and homemade with Love by Scott, the owner. Thanks Scott, - can’t wait to return- You’ve definitely nailed it“

“Sweetest cafe in Irvington, New York. Clean space, service is smooth and quick, food is fresh, and they have an array of pastry options. We tried the honey turkey sandwich, tiramisu, and cappuccino- everything was just right and the portions perfect. You’ll feel at home inside; ideal for breakfast, brunch or for study. “I stop into Southdown Coffee at least four times a week, and it’s honestly the highlight of my day! Their cappuccinos, cortados, matcha lattes, and espresso tonics are all amazing—I can’t pick a favorite. Sometimes I even double up and swing by on my lunch break for an extra caffeine boost and grab one of their delicious avocado pesto or chickpea salad sandwiches. And don’t even get me started on their baked goods—they’re absolutely to die for! This place is a must-visit for coffee lovers and foodies alike.“

“Finally, the Bronx has a place where people have healthy eating options, except for the desserts, but I ain't mad- that panacotta was goooood! Anyways, I love the ambiance and space, cool music selection (at least for me). There are small tables where you can eat. The place is spacious and clean. The hot food section could use a bit more space but not a detterant. It is like a Manhattan buffet space but better. Right now it is a hidden gem but I anticipate it will get more crowded, and they may need more space. The drinks and panacotta were my favorite! For drinks I got the hibiscus, ginger, chia and also the strawberry, mint lemonade I think it was. A tad sweet but very refreshing!

Parking: There is parking but scarce, not sure if there is an extra lot somewhere that I might have missed. There is also some street parking but also a bit ambiguous. A bit of congestion when you have cars coming in and out of a narrow street - not sure if it was due to the time of day I visited. Overall, however, I would say parking is ok.“

“Adorable cafe conveniently located a couple blocks from the train! Very friendly and attentive service, warm welcoming and clean atmosphere. The pastries looks amazing, but got the breakfast wrap (you'll have to order a side if you're hungry) and the 3 egg omelette with homefries and toast were more filling and served hot. Such a great local place and cute seating in the front. Enjoy!“

“I wish I knew about this place sooner! There should be a sign advertising their presence, but it definitely is hidden away among the offices. This is a wonderful little diner/cafe. Our waiter was Susan's husband who was conversational, prompt, and attentive. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. The parking lot does say 30 min but we were in and out in that frame of time because of how efficient they were. I highly recommend Susan's Kitchen. High quality food and customer service.“

“Ordered four pupusas, two with beans and cheese and two with chicken and cheese, and 4 taquitos, two with carne and two with chicken. Not gonna lie I couldn’t tell which one was the chicken and which one was carne so that threw me off a little bit, but the food was pretty delicious. I wasn’t a big fan of la salsa roja, it was a little thin for me and honestly I don’t think we needed that much. But everything was solid. We had some leftover guacamole which rounded out the meal. Definitely recommend the pupusas! Also the best part, everything came out to just about $20, really solid price for the food in my opinion.“

This beat my reccomendation for us to get pizza after spending 7 hours at nybg.The service was exceptional, we had the whole place to ourselves. Desserts are amazing. However, they can only control so much of this, and they make up for it with the food. You will pay roughly $30 for a burrito, a smoothie, and any sort of coffee, but that being said, the quality backs up the price; I just couldn't justify it everyday.“

“Easy to get to bc it’s inside Hmart. Has all the basic Korean bakery stuff you need. If you want the whole spread you should go to a stand alone Korean bakery bc they will have more. Free parking lot in the shopping plaza. This way you can go food shopping but also get bakery stuff. My favorite pastry was there which they don’t sell in most Korean bakeries - Soboro custard cream - it’s like coffee cake crunchies on top (but it’s not coffee flavored) with plenty of cream inside. It's $3.75 each which is kind of pricey. But there aren’t many Korean bakeries in Yonkers.
