“The best pitaya bowl I have ever tried. SUPER FRESH. The fruit toppings were very fresh as well. Babies love it as well, just buy it without the toppings. The fresh mango they used for topping was the best I have ever had. I wonder where they buy their mangoes. Very convenient location, on the avenue. I put my pitaya bowl in the fridge overnight, as it was just as delicious de-frosted.“
“Listen...anyone in these reviews complaining about the service is either way too soft or wanted to dilly dally when it was their time to order. The main lady is great at her job - she never messes up our orders and is always super efficient. Been ordering here for years and never waited more than 15 minutes. If you want a no nonsense experience with an authentic, DELICIOUS NY bagel, then this is your spot. Shut up and just enjoy your amazing bagel.“
“I love harpoon Hanna’s. It’s a gem and now new Rochelle now has the best coffee caffe. The iced coffees are amazing. The owner kim and all her staff are so wonderful. Like being at home. It’s a beautiful atmospheric joy. New Rochelle new yummy treasure. A million stars ⭐️“
“Went here for dinner on a whim, very glad we did. Nice cozy atmosphere. Everything was top quality, the drinks, the food, the desserts. Everything tasted fresh and the service was great. Oh and the french fries are some of the best I've ever had in my life. “
“We visited this coffee shop today. I had a turkey bacon omelette. It was simply amazing. From the tasteful presentation of food to the deliciousness and the ambiance of the coffee shop. It was so amazing! My experience today makes me want to visit this coffee shop every time I come to New York City!“
“Love this space , food and the culture that lives here. I recently needed a last minute catering order for my small business event and they were happy to help us out. The owners are professional & creative dope women. So happy to have this space in #TheBronx!“
“Friendly people, impeccable sandwich with razor thin bead and croquetas that were not too oily upon being fried. The sandwich was lean, not too salty and well balanced. Real work of art. Coffee was also caringly prepared to our specifications.Gracias de corazon“
“Cute tiny cafe with delicious, gourmet health made completely from scratch. The owner/chef is very professional, quick yet thorough and careful. We ordered a smoothie, veggie empanada, Mediterranean salad, veggie bowl with egg and a falafel wrap. The 2 large fried eggs were cooked medium to perfection as requested. Every bite was powerful and delicious, our toes were dancing while we ate!“
“I have not yet been here in person, but had to rave about their coffee. Being a decaf drinker, it is not always easy to find delicious coffee. I happened to see this brand in my local supermarket, and, being a dog lover, decided to try their Maya decaf after reading the description. Oh my goodness, the most delicious coffee!! I am going to try to get to the store in person but in the meantime I highly recommend their coffee!“
“Go here immediately. Everything we had was delicious! Classic Mediterranean with a modern twist. Service is delightful and shop is sweet. Byrek (tried both spinach and cheese) are best I’ve ever had. Greek(ish) salad is so good with the figs. Carrot soup also amazing. Very happy to discover this place (its a little hard to find even though it’s next to Trader Joe’s)Kid-friendliness: Came with our baby and breast fed her here (owner said no problem when we asked)“
“As the rave reviews here confirm, I think this is one of the best eateries in the Rivertowns. Exceptional coffee (I have very high standards!), and this morning I had their scrumptious breakfast burrito, which is cooked from scratch to perfection. The staff is always kind and professional.“
“I love this place. They have won awards for their avocado toast and when you try it you’ll see why. Everything tastes homemade and made with love. I love their espresso too. 3 stars for service because I had an incident where I was given non gluten free bread once and also cheese when I asked for none as I have both food intolerances which cause massive widespread inflammation for me that can last weeks into months. The person I spoke dealt with did not apologize/seemed annnoyed and it happened both times with her. However, it’s such a rare find to find a place with such good food and GF options for me (coming from the BX) that I wound up going back and it hasn’t happened since. Everyone there knows me now and automatically knows what I order but I just think people need to take food allergies and concerns much more seriously than they do. The atmosphere is cute and it’s a nice place to read a book or work on your laptop.Dietary restrictions: If you have food allergies, mention it 3 times. Triple confirm they understand.“
“BEST coffee in Irvington!!! I'm there often for large orders to bring to work and Mike and Brittany are so patient, kind, and deeply care for their community. We always have such great conversation while they make my oat latte. So much love is put into what they do-- amazing coffee, incredible pastries, and do NOT sleep on that egg sandwich.“
“I had the pleasure of joining my bestie today at Southdown. While she’s been there many times before today was my first but def not my last. I had the avocado toast which was the best I’ve ever had. The coffee also was delicious! I’m not an easy to please person but the food, staff and atmosphere were all spectacular!! I felt like I was in another state like Utah or Colorado.“
“Clippers coffee is a delight! A true gem of the Bronx and of City Island. All the staff there are super friendly, and their menu items are wonderful! If you go try their jumbo chocolate chip cookie, there are very few cookies that can beat it!“
“I am in love. I have come twice here and the drive is worth it. The staff is extremely kind and attentive. The music is calming and low. It is a quite workspace with comfortable seating and free wifi. The coffee is amazing. I've gotten a French vanilla capuchino and it tastes amazing. The froth taste like marshmallow which I love. I've had a cookie, breakfast sandwich, and an almond chocolate croissant; DELICIOUS. I thought my breakfast sandwhich was going to be a typical frozen sandwich but NO fresh eggs, amazing bread. I'm just in love to tbh. Come, come come.“
“What a wonderful place!! We decided to stop you and check it out, and my son and I couldn't have been happier. The owner was a delight and my son absolutely loved the play area. We felt very sage and was able to have a nice time all on one. She also made me a DELICIOUS organic coffee that was unlike anything I've ever had, so delicious. Definitely give this place a try, you won't be disappointed“
“Stopped by Saturday morning craving a matcha and they delivered! First off this place is so cute, I can't wait to come by in the summer and sit outside for a while . The staff is sooooo nice and welcoming. At the counter you're able to see all their yummy pastries, I had a chocolate croissant and it was perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. The matcha was made perfectly, I'm on my way back as I write this review !“
“Had a really great Matcha at CFCF. I really appreciated the service as I ordered my matcha to the wrong location but they very nicely made it for me at the location I had hoped to order it at. The gripps Street location is really nice inside, a little bit small but it did not feel overcrowded. The gluten-free oatmeal square grew on me, but it was not great (very crumbly and not as much flavor as I hoped for). Definitely better things to eat so I will need to explore more.“
“Atmosphere is the best part of this place. Food is overrated and over-priced but service is good and Atmosphere is great for getting together to chat for an hour with a friend etc.Parking: Location is busy and on a main street. Got to be lucky to get parking.“
“Best buffet I've ever been to. Everything is weighted so be careful because EVERYTHING is delicious. They have many options to grab and everything is made fresh and organic. Don't forget to grab a fresh juice and get some free garlic bread with your meals.“
“Ohhh YES! Because their mission is so admirable is reason alone to drink the coffee. Notwithstanding, this is THE BEST COFFEE IN WHITE PLAINS: by the cup, by the bean, by the bag...BUY IT ALL, ALL THE TIME! Yummy baked treats, truffles and etc. keep me coming back. Comfortable tables and armchairs. Clean and spotless all over...bathrooms too. The owners and all the servers want you to be happy when you're there and when you leave. They see to THAT. It's about WP finally had a REAL COFFEE JOINT.“
“casual vibe with some small tables if you want to eat your breakfast or fries fresh n fast. You just bus your own. They also have Longfords Ice Cream. There is parking for the strip and some in back.Vegetarian options: the fried eggplant salad. so good!“
“This is our favorite spot in Pelham. We love taking lunch dates here. The food and pastries are always great, and the staff are always easygoing. A feel good, eat good spot! Especially love when we get the table by the window and the sun is shinning. All around, always a good experience. Oh and my go to is the grilled avocado cheese toast. Perfectly buttered toast with the perfect crunch. Man likes the steak and eggs!“
“Ordered delivery and it was so delicious, crazy. The sandwich was amazing and so was the chicken waffle. I feel for the price they could put 2 waffles rather than one but it’s delicious regardless. I’ll definitely grab food from here again.“
“Such a cute coffee shop! They get BUSY... especially in October. I will attest to the fact that their drinks are very good and they have a nice variety of food items too. The whole cafe is very cozy and during non-peak tourist season it would be a fantastic place to meet up with a friend for lunch and a coffee!“
“Now let me tell you about this little cafe, located in the down lake street heading towards West Harrison…I’ve been to this establishment several times along my route. In the morning for coffee, bananas and more coffee. But never have I ever ate here…till last month. Around this time 2pm in the afternoon I was craving a taco (which I knew Eddie’s Little Cafe most definitely make) along with other delicious Mexican delights. I just never knew what everything tasted like. Because let it be known I’ve tasted majority of White Plains’s Taco scene… ONLY ONE PLACE CURRENTLY REIGNS SUPREME…. Which I have yet to review. Till now..: Not only does Eddie’s Little Cafe crafts the most beautiful taco.. but their “Chorizo/2 egg scramble with home fries breakfast tacos” literally will satisfy anyone craving a breakfast taco. Perfect for brunch, perfect for a quick lunch. This homemade meal I order was and is a force to be reckon with. Because it IS MADE …with professionalism, “homemade-ism”,… it just tastes really freaking good and I was hungry! I still have a few hours delivering mail along my route but damn I AM SATISFIED for now…till dinner… PLUS DONT FORGET THE SAUCES!!!Please support the locals!!“
“This place is GOOD. I've only ordered takeout but every time I order, the food comes promptly, correctly, and nice and hot. I've gotten their churro French toast, chilaquiles with salsa verde, pancakes, and birra quesadillas. I don't have a single complaint about any of it, really so yummy and amazing. It tastes like your mom is cooking for you and putting all her love into the food. You really can't go wrong with their food!“
“My Fiance and I have been looking for a place close by that has good, truly authentic Dominican food and Maria did not disappoint! We both got the pernil with rice, beans, and maduros - everything was full of flavor and FRESH. Portions were also more than plenty, we ended up bringing our leftovers home. Chips and salsas were also complimentary and just as tasty! Maria was so sweet and attentive, and took the time to chat and get to know us. She mentioned having breakfast available and we will def be returning soon to try it out!“
“What a gem! I went there today for the first time and the iced latte was exquisite. The service was great, the staff was so friendly and service was quick.Major plus? DOG FRIENDLY!! The ambiance was also so cozy and cute, gave a cool Brooklyn vibe for sure.Make sure to visit!! I think this is my new coffee shop!“
“As a newbie in town, I have been looking for a healthy cozy place to get some work done. Sweet and savory has the perfect menu. Everything is made fresh and was delicious. As I sat in a booth I could hear the family greeting everyone by name when they came in. It was so nice to find a homey feel and great eats.“
“I decided to stop here with my boyfriend after scouting the area for cute cafes serving fresh food with healthy options. We ended up at Granola Bar and enjoyed a wonderful lunch with our server Alex who was very accommodating and friendly. My boyfriend had the French toast that was so good he ate it right away and we didn't even get a picture of it. I opted for the avocado toast with smoked salmon and the ricotta toast. Both were incredibly fresh, light and delicious! We finished with a latte which was finely crafted with an adorable bear! There were so many other dishes that looked good on the menu being served to other diners so we will definitely be back to try the sandwiches and bowls.“
“Gotta give it up for a spot with coffee and a play space. Pretty brilliant. The space feels very clean and is setup up great for open play. There are lots of things to tinker and build and play with. There are even some more physical pieces that kiddos can climb (though not a ton). One area is separated for babies, which is a nice option. They change things up every once in a while, which is also a plus. I'd say this space is best for 3 years old and younger, though I'm pretty sure I've seen 4 and 5 year olds there too. And did I mention the coffee?!“
“Hands down, best ice cream in Westchester/Putnam Counties. All home made. Common favorites as well as innovative flavors. Friendly staff. Wonderful, community driven & supportive owners.Great flavors. My favorite is Coffee Kalua; it's so creamy and just the right amount of Kalua taste with bold, smooth coffee flavor. I will drive miles out of my way between family in Westchester to my home in Putnam, just to get a pint to take home and of course a scoop with hot fudge to sit at the tables on the side walk and enjoy. So dang, good! If you're an ice cream snob like me, you'll love it! Check them out. They also sell some old-fashioned candy in the inside shop and they make dessert Crepes. Faaaabulous!“
“TNT Luncheonette is fantastic. I started going there, when it was called Mitz and Mike. They have a great breakfast menu. I like to order a couple of eggs over easy, with ham, home fries and whole wheat toast. Their home fries are to die for.Unfortunately, I haven't been there in years, because I live overseas now. But, if I ever get back to good old Harrison again, you can be sure, I will pay a visit to TNT Luncheonette.“
“Delightful example of where “the locals” eat, and highly recommend to tourists like me who really enjoy getting acquainted with communities that aren’t “touristy”. Marvelous service from Sonia and really really great food at great prices!“
“Black Cat Cafe was awesome! Came in just as they were opening on a Sunday morning with my 2 year old. Service was great, and the person working was very accommodating of the young kid. Highly recommend getting breakfast here and then checking out the framers market just up the hill. Parent pro-tip, the Ivington location for the farmers market is right next to a playground.Kid-friendliness: I'm definitely calling this one kid friendly. They even had some toys on hand. Also, other patrons were not put off by the presence of a young kid.“
“5 out of 5 hands down! The atmosphere is awesome, the staff are wonderful and the food... BOMB. The Katsu Chicken sandwich is my favorite! They also have ready to go cold salads, sandwiches, juices and small snacks which makes a quick stop easy, efficient and healthy!“
“Had steak fajitas with a side of guacamole and they were good. Everything was fresh, the waitresses were nice, and the place is really clean. The waitresses seem to be native Spanish speakers, so you may have to slow down your English a little bit. One star off because the music was too loud, and there was some gristle in the steak. I will be going back and next time I'll try the chicken or shrimp fajitas.“
“The welcoming atmosphere of the staff very inviting and wholesome great tasting breakfast the omelette with the feta and spinach with the home fries and side of rye is worth a 30 mile drive just to experience that old school cooking and taste that you can’t find everywhere the OG in the kitchen I bet he has been slinging hash browns way before google was a thing over all of your looking for the clean eating at an amazing price come hungry it’s good eating“
“MY ORDER :IRISH OMELETTE WITH SPINACH EXTRA IRISH SAUSAGES PLUS AN ORDER OF VEGETABLE SOUP WITH AN ORDER OF PLAIN SCONEBEVERAGE: Coffee with Almond MilkDATE. 3-25-2024TIME: 4:48pmSo I've been visiting this fine local restaurant since 2022. I've had many different dishes (mostly breakfast). Today was the first day I actually had something different....with breakfast. Now I can totally take my time and write and why I keep coming back. Because to be quite honest, their breakfast dishes (especially the Irish dishes) are very cozy, delicious and flavorful. I've had their beans, pudding and sausages. That home cooked meal, is just what Irish Coffee Ship is good at. The soup of the day(I honestly cannot remember the type of soup) it was tangy and sweet at the same time but good. It had the butternut squash taste to it. No actual chunks of anything in it, the soup was creamy. I can't say much about my omelette because it wasn't just simply an omelette... to me. They actually seasoned the eggs, the Irish sausage tasted fresh, plus the spinach as well. My home fries was cooked to perfection. The staff and the waitress were professional! The entirety of this place..Irish coffee shop... it's always clean and well maintained. Always busy plus very comfortable atmosphere..Please support the locals!!!!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Katonah Bakery & Grill, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The chicken sandwich I ordered was nothing short of exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. The extensive array of cookies, pastries, and other treats showcased the culinary mastery of the establishment. What truly sets this place apart, however, is not just the outstanding food, but also the warmth and hospitality of the owner. His genuine kindness made me feel right at home. Furthermore, the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and quantity of food offered. If I could, I'd give this gem of a restaurant six stars. Katonah Bakery & Grill has earned a lifelong patron in me, and I couldn't be more delighted. From the unbelievable food to the fantastic service and convenient location, this establishment truly stands out.Such Fresh Food!!!“
“I like that spot, it’s my favorite spot when driving north, I make I do that spot, good coffee and good pastries, that day one of the person there start imitating my accent, many times, I was so mad, I could easily talk to management them or just give here a hard time, but I let go, I’ve seen a lot stupid people like here and isn’t here will stopped me to coming back“
“The ladies at the counter are awesome. Always friendly and helpful. Too bad sitting in is no longer an option due to Covid. The cook is great. They get a LOT of phone orders and walk ins so he stays super swamped so I advise calling your order in ahead because you'll be waiting in that tiny space and it gets crowded fast. Customers don't adhere to social distancing so as soon as its 5 or more people in there, I stand outside to wait. I love the burgers and the corned beef hash. I've had the breakfast sandwiches aswell. Good turkey bacon and turkey sausages. Lots to choose from. They're very clean also.“
“Stick to breakfast food and you will be fine. Do not order salads and other items in the menu. They make good bagels, waffles, pancakes, eggs, bacon and fries. The pastries and desserts are also really good. Make sure to only order those things.“
“I started working in Mamaroneck 3 years ago and up until this year I hadn't gone to Stanz. I don't know why no one had told me sooner about this place! The sandwich's are like your typical Italian deli sandwich but with a modern twist. There is all different kinds of breads to choose from. I still have yet to try their breakfast but I hear they have the best bacon egg and cheese. That is next on my list! They also have yummy looking salads. Lastly, I got a chocolate chip cookie because it was only $1 and I wish I had bought 5, sooo soft and chewy! Definitely recommend for your next brunch outing.“
“First impressions are lasting, and just from the interaction I had with the lovely soul behind the counter, I will make it a point to pop over when I make my usual patronage to businesses in the area. I wanted to grab a tea so I decided to pop in. She introduced me to Barry's Tea. She said if I like strong tea, Barry's is the way to go. As an avid tea drinker, I've never heard of the brand, but I gave it a go. I'll drink it once it cools a bit. I really appreciate the suggestion, and now that I've had a sip...WOW! I like it. It's the little things that make or break businesses, and you can tell this place has been here for some time. I'll be back.“
“This place is underrated here on City Island where the only options you have for breakfast are Dunkin Donuts and the crowded diner. Where are you gonna get a bacon egg and cheese on a roll with coffee and including a tip for 5 bucks? Nowhere. Just here. :)They have daily authentic Mexican specials ( it is Mexican owned) And MOFUNGO! It a big menu and includes pernil which usually sells out shortly after it is finished cooking. The staff is very friendly , the place adheres and goes beyond covid protocols and the prices are VERY reasonable. 4 outdoor tables for "dine in"“
“A really nice Italian gelato/baked goods place. We stopped in about 20 minutes before closing and we're lucky enough to sit in their small eating area and enjoy a pana cotta and some other baked goods we took home. Initially I wanted some gelato but after seeing the baked goods I switched. They have lots of options and the next time in the area we will go back for dessert, maybe gelato.“
“Today's review (10/15/23) is mostly about the service here. Dude running the place by himself had quite a lot of plates to juggle; baking cookies, making milkshakes, ringing up customers etc. My advice if you're looking to explore Mamaroneck: park on one of the side streets by the library - don't bother with Mamaroneck Ave.Milk 'n Cookies also always smells so good! You can either smell the soap they just washed the floors with, or the cookies being baked - nice touch. Prices here are a little extreme. Around $5 per cookie, and $11 for a milkshake. Not bad!“
