“Parkway cafe is a lovely lovely spot for a good lunch or breakfast meal. Their home fries are absolutely delicious and I highly suggest the avocado omelette as something to order there. It’s a lovely spot and a family owned establishment that serves the Scarsdale community with some of the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten. I could not ask for a better restaurant in my community. I wish they were open for dinner sometimes but I respect why they aren’t.“

“This is not just a sugar bomb tea cafe. I tried the Thai hot tea no bubble things and it was pleasantly not sweet but tasty. Service is a bit of a wait but it’s pleasant. Children seem to really like the teas here. You should try it. And if you are looking for adult beverages there is a nice wine/liquor store across the street. Parking is nearby and convenient and inexpensive.“

“We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. I say this as someone who has organized many events professionally over the decades. Donna Sullivan and Jean-Jacques are top notch.“

“Love Healthy in Dyckman. It’s a gem in the Kingsbridge area where it’s possible to find good quality, healthy food. I particularly love their healthy egg wrap and chai latte. The staff is very sweet, and the place clean. The food is on the pricier side compared to the area, but it does justice to the quality. Highly recommended!“

“I had the pleasure to enjoy the food here at Toastique. The food was delicious, I tried the Spicy crab toast, it was the best tasty presentation of real crab meat with fine vegetables. The juices are healthy mixes of real fresh fruit. I tried the spicy Margarita, super tasty drink! The place is nicely updated, modern look, service was excellent, friendly and very welcome environment! Great place to enjoy some time with friends or family.“

The owners, Carrie and Charlotte Denoyer, greet each customer with warmth as they accommodate every request—from seating, to craft cocktails, to gf/df/v options. With a chef who clearly “gets it”, each course feels so very special—as if prepared just for you! I’ve been visiting Cafe Deux since they’ve opened so picking my favorite dishes is near impossible, but…Breakfast-crustless farmers market quiche; Lunch- salad tuna nicoise; Dinner—mussels, the Deux wagyu burger, any fish special, and of course the fries, which take 48hrs to prepare). “Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

“Had a great night and tasty meal at the Pelican Room and their speakeasy next door - Kalico lounge. Food was terrific, drinks were outstanding snd service top notch. Great vibe too. Felt like it could be in the city or Brooklyn.

“Buffet with a large variety of food sold on a pay by the pound basis. All the food is good, service always pleasant. Most go for take-out, the atmosphere is clean and utliitarian, not the place for a date but fine with a friend to chat over lunch.“

“Love this coffee shop/bakery in this converted old train ticket /waiting station. Their are still some announcements as trains pull in. Noticed some people working on their laptops. saw some families. Parking is a little tough and you have to pay metered parking via an app or coins. Once inside it is totally worth it. Not only did Piermont have a bike, they had 4 for me to test. Sunny also told me the size I originally thought I needed was too big and his recommendation for the smaller frame was spot on. I ended up with a 44 cm Cannondale Evo and couldn’t be happier.“

“We drove up to Yonkers to shop at HMart and found this bakery inside the store. It is a takeout only location as there is no seating. Very nice selection of items and we bought a couple to take home. Will eat later.
The store is right on Central Park Ave long with lots of other shopping
options. We will definitely stop in again.“

“The cafe at Wave Hill is very roomy, and there is quite a bit of variety for its size, though the food is not very remarkable. There are plenty of staff, who are fairly friendly, when I visited last they didn't have milk for my coffee which was disappointing, but they gave me almond milk. Oh and the view, it is spectacular in every season.“

The food is decent quality , you get what you ordered, and tends to come with salad or fruit which is fresh and good. I can’t speak to the restaurant location itself as we only get takeout , but unlike other takeout from around white plains, Ams Cafe is dependable and good for a solid meal.“
