“My husband and I have visited Dante's Lattes a few times now. Collectively we've tried the Tiramusi Iced Latte, Cinnamon Bun Cold Foam Latte, the Matcha de Chinola, and the Tres Leche Latte. My ultimate favorite has been the Tiramusi Iced Latte. I like that this coffee shop has a punch card and eventually you are eligible to get a free drink. It's a great incentive for frequent visitors.“

“Gone twice. What more can you want from a diner. Love sitting at the stools and seeing the chefs work. High quality, great black coffee, great value. Love their sweet potato pancakes and corned beef hash. They have a great menu with classics done right. Love the sauces too! Homemade hot sauce, mustard, and remoulade(?) fantastic fantastic. “We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. I say this as someone who has organized many events professionally over the decades. Donna Sullivan and Jean-Jacques are top notch.“

“I had the pleasure to enjoy the food here at Toastique. The food was delicious, I tried the Spicy crab toast, it was the best tasty presentation of real crab meat with fine vegetables. The juices are healthy mixes of real fresh fruit. I tried the spicy Margarita, super tasty drink! The place is nicely updated, modern look, service was excellent, friendly and very welcome environment! Great place to enjoy some time with friends or family.“

“Healthy & Dyckman is a great little café in the Bronx where you can get fresh, flavorful food at a reasonable price. Everything is made to order, so just be sure to order ahead or come with a little patience—there’s usually one person at the counter and one in the back preparing the food.

They offer both vegan and non-vegan options, so there’s something for everyone. Definitely a solid neighborhood spot worth checking out.“

“Great customer service. The people who work there are knowledgeable and they have the best stock of bikes around. At 5’1” no one ever has bikes in my size. Not only did Piermont have a bike, they had 4 for me to test. Sunny also told me the size I originally thought I needed was too big and his recommendation for the smaller frame was spot on. I ended up with a 44 cm Cannondale Evo and couldn’t be happier.“

“We were in Tarrytown on vacation and stopped in. I love to pick up local goods to bring home and I was not disappointed. Patrons and staff were kind and efficient. “What a cute place for lunch. My daughter and I had lunch after visiting a local POI. We both enjoyed our meals at an outside table. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely go back. They have a lunch and breakfast menu and for a Monday, there were plenty of people going in and out - a sign that it's a great spot with locals.“

“My party of four dined at Pelican Room, and overall, we had a really good experience. Our waiter was outstanding, and the rest of the staff was friendly and attentive.

I ordered two daiquiris, but I’m fairly certain they were actually margaritas. No complaints from me, though, because I love a good margarita! The casual food items were the real standouts. The pizza and burgers were amazing, and everyone in our group really enjoyed them. We also decided to take a chance on the $50 steak, but unfortunately, that was the one disappointment of the meal. My husband is a big steak guy, and he didn’t feel it lived up to the price or the description on the menu. Aside from the steak, we really enjoyed our visit. Great service, great staff, and some really delicious food. I’d definitely return, especially for the pizza and burgers!“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

Not much in this area.. So this becomes the go to. Lots of pastries. Tried several of them and have not been disappointed. German chocolate cup cake, pecan topping perfectly sweet.
Sausage sandwich on biscuit, bacon egg on biscuit, both a little greasy.. Think it's the cheese.. But delicious. BLT was good. Don't think you can go wrong, was all good.
No begals here. Scones! They are yummy!
Just a group of tables to sit at... Never had a problem finding a spot with party of 2 or 3.“

I had a cappuccino with almond milk & cinnamon on the top. It was so good & loved the presentation. I’ll be back - looking fwd to trying some food options.“

“I got a caramel latte with crema on top. Drink wasn't too sweet and the crema is unique and delicious, better than cold foam in my opinion. It is expensive, one drink came out to almost $10, and I would prefer less crema as it is quite thick. I would definitely come back when in the area.

It’d be awesome if they expanded their food and beverage menu. Sitting inside while it rained was super cozy, and taking in the view right after the rain stopped was the cherry on top. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to!“

“Friendly staff, great music, delicious coffee. They’re happy to fill your reusable mug as well, which is always a plus. Coffee is great, but I wouldn’t recommend the matcha, it was overly sweet and not very strong. Nice ambiance especially when the fireplace is going. Good space to work or hang out with friends, but be aware that on the weekends it can get pretty packed with the cyclist crowd - though they’re very friendly, they take up a lot of seating!“

“Silver Lake is a great cafe! The food, atmosphere, and service is outstanding, and the place is very clean and well kept every time I’ve been. I got the #3 which is a Smoked Turkey Hero, and it was super solid and filling. I highly recommend swapping the mayo with chipotle mayo — it was amazing and added a lot of flavor. Maybe even get some extra chipotle mayo on the side. I approve!“

The store is right on Central Park Ave long with lots of other shopping
options. We will definitely stop in again.“
