We stopped by The Farm Cafe yesterday, and even though it was super busy, the team didn't miss a beat!
The food was exceptional and the drinks were absolutely delicious. I tried the vanilla foam coffee—which was incredible—and had the BLT with grilled chicken. It was such a hearty, fresh, and satisfying sandwich. On top of the great food, the girl who served our table were sweet, attentive, and delightful throughout our visit.
Despite how packed it was, everything was top-tier. We’ll definitely be back!“

“My daughter-in-law, Amy Sowder-van Erk, brought me here for my first Blue Heron experience, and personally, it met all expectations, and more! I had an excellently crafted cappuccino and decided to try the gluten-free almond cookies (come in a package of 4). For those of you who are gluten-free or gluten sensitive, you know how difficult it is to find that perfectly delicious, made with love, delicacy. These are out of this world and have a full almond taste and are wonderfully chewy. A highly recommended respite for anyone looking for that perfect spot to enjoy your coffee or tea, and dive into a delectably home made perfection.“

“We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. I say this as someone who has organized many events professionally over the decades. Donna Sullivan and Jean-Jacques are top notch.“

“Hands down the best restaurant in Westchester! This is a run, don’t walk, recommendation. From the moment you enter Cafe Deux, you’re transformed to another era. The owners, Carrie and Charlotte Denoyer, greet each customer with warmth as they accommodate every request—from seating, to craft cocktails, to gf/df/v options. With a chef who clearly “gets it”, each course feels so very special—as if prepared just for you! I’ve been visiting Cafe Deux since they’ve opened so picking my favorite dishes is near impossible, but…Breakfast-crustless farmers market quiche; Lunch- salad tuna nicoise; Dinner—mussels, the Deux wagyu burger, any fish special, and of course the fries, which take 48hrs to prepare). This place is perfection! Harrison sure is lucky to have them!“

“Great customer service. The people who work there are knowledgeable and they have the best stock of bikes around. At 5’1” no one ever has bikes in my size. Not only did Piermont have a bike, they had 4 for me to test. Sunny also told me the size I originally thought I needed was too big and his recommendation for the smaller frame was spot on. I ended up with a 44 cm Cannondale Evo and couldn’t be happier.“

“We were in Tarrytown on vacation and stopped in. I love to pick up local goods to bring home and I was not disappointed. Patrons and staff were kind and efficient. The Witch’s Brew beans I brought home are wonderful, mild, and full of flavor. Can’t wait to break into the second bag of beans I bought.“

“What a cute place for lunch. My daughter and I had lunch after visiting a local POI. We both enjoyed our meals at an outside table. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely go back. They have a lunch and breakfast menu and for a Monday, there were plenty of people going in and out - a sign that it's a great spot with locals.“

“My husband and I have visited Dante's Lattes a few times now. Collectively we've tried the Tiramusi Iced Latte, Cinnamon Bun Cold Foam Latte, the Matcha de Chinola, and the Tres Leche Latte. My ultimate favorite has been the Tiramusi Iced Latte. I like that this coffee shop has a punch card and eventually you are eligible to get a free drink. It's a great incentive for frequent visitors.“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

“I got a caramel latte with crema on top. Drink wasn't too sweet and the crema is unique and delicious, better than cold foam in my opinion. It is expensive, one drink came out to almost $10, and I would prefer less crema as it is quite thick. I would definitely come back when in the area.

Not much in this area.. So this becomes the go to. Lots of pastries. Tried several of them and have not been disappointed. German chocolate cup cake, pecan topping perfectly sweet.
Sausage sandwich on biscuit, bacon egg on biscuit, both a little greasy.. Think it's the cheese.. But delicious. BLT was good. Don't think you can go wrong, was all good.
No begals here. Scones! They are yummy!
Just a group of tables to sit at... Never had a problem finding a spot with party of 2 or 3.“

“Great atmosphere with tons of space. Super welcoming and laid back you can casually pop in without feeling any pressure. The hot dog hit the spot, but the tea options were a bit lacking. It’d be awesome if they expanded their food and beverage menu. Sitting inside while it rained was super cozy, and taking in the view right after the rain stopped was the cherry on top. “This was my first time at this lovely new cafe in Larchmont! Excellent food, wide selection, great family-friendly laid back Brooklyn meets upstate vibe. Very sweet upbeat lady Ashton at the cash register. Cute little shop inside filled with gourmet healthy food options and little household trinkets. Had the chicken sandwich and the white smoothie (added peanut butter, no problem!), both were delicious. Love the booths. Also has a high top bar where one can eat or do some work. Will def be back!! What a wonderful addition to Larchmont!“

“They say never judge a book by its cover, well that couldn’t be more true for Lou’s Wagon (hot dog truck). On the surface, it’s a really small white box-truck that doesn’t appear to offer much. Rest assure, that is not the case. The food and service here was great. The two hotdogs with chili, cheese and cooked onions that I purchased were very tasty. The chili had just the right consistency and the cheese actually tasted like cheese. The bread wasn’t stale and the dogs didn’t taste like they’ve been sitting in boiled water for a week. The food was fresh. The lady running the hot dog truck was extremely welcoming, quick and courteous. For anyone looking for a quick bite and tasty hot dogs at a very affordable price compared to other food trucks I’ve stopped at, this spot is a winner. They also offer hot sausage, Dr. Browns soda, chips and cookies. The food spot is perfectly located right at the corner of an intersection just off 9A and Croton Dam Rd. Give them a try. You won’t regret it!“

The store is right on Central Park Ave long with lots of other shopping

“One of the best matchas I’ve ever tried. You can really taste the quality, and it was prepared perfectly. I ordered the strawberry matcha with oat milk, it was delicious you can taste the umami flavor in the matcha and the real strawberries from the home puree was amazing. My friend got the spirulina coconut matcha I tried hers and it was so refreshing. Safe to say I found my new Westchester matcha spot!“

“Silver Lake is a great cafe! The food, atmosphere, and service is outstanding, and the place is very clean and well kept every time I’ve been. I got the #3 which is a Smoked Turkey Hero, and it was super solid and filling. I highly recommend swapping the mayo with chipotle mayo — it was amazing and added a lot of flavor. Maybe even get some extra chipotle mayo on the side. I approve!“

“The kitchen is small, but the flavors are big at the Playhouse Cafe. It’s unbelievable what they are capable of creating — this is not your typical movie theater cafe. Great cocktails, a full coffee shop (my favorite place to work on the weekends while the kids catch a movie), the charcuterie board is fabulous, the muffaletta is my favorite sandwich. My kids love the tater tots and chicken fingers. Don’t miss the churro bites for dessert! Best of all — you never need a movie ticket to eat in the cafe, but if you are seeing a movie — you can bring your food/drinks into the theater. Sure beats regular popcorn!Also, trivia nights and live music are so fun — not to be missed!
