“We were in Tarrytown on vacation and stopped in. I love to pick up local goods to bring home and I was not disappointed. Patrons and staff were kind and efficient. The Witch’s Brew beans I brought home are wonderful, mild, and full of flavor. Can’t wait to break into the second bag of beans I bought.“

Not much in this area.. So this becomes the go to. Lots of pastries. Tried several of them and have not been disappointed. German chocolate cup cake, pecan topping perfectly sweet.
Sausage sandwich on biscuit, bacon egg on biscuit, both a little greasy.. Think it's the cheese.. But delicious. BLT was good. Don't think you can go wrong, was all good.
No begals here. Scones! They are yummy!
Just a group of tables to sit at... Never had a problem finding a spot with party of 2 or 3.“

She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. “Great customer service. The people who work there are knowledgeable and they have the best stock of bikes around. At 5’1” no one ever has bikes in my size. Not only did Piermont have a bike, they had 4 for me to test. Sunny also told me the size I originally thought I needed was too big and his recommendation for the smaller frame was spot on. I ended up with a 44 cm Cannondale Evo and couldn’t be happier.“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

Coffee is great, but I wouldn’t recommend the matcha, it was overly sweet and not very strong. Nice ambiance especially when the fireplace is going. Good space to work or hang out with friends, but be aware that on the weekends it can get pretty packed with the cyclist crowd - though they’re very friendly, they take up a lot of seating!“

“Silver Lake is a great cafe! The food, atmosphere, and service is outstanding, and the place is very clean and well kept every time I’ve been. I got the #3 which is a Smoked Turkey Hero, and it was super solid and filling. I highly recommend swapping the mayo with chipotle mayo — it was amazing and added a lot of flavor. Maybe even get some extra chipotle mayo on the side. I approve!“

“They say never judge a book by its cover, well that couldn’t be more true for Lou’s Wagon (hot dog truck). On the surface, it’s a really small white box-truck that doesn’t appear to offer much. Rest assure, that is not the case. The food and service here was great. The two hotdogs with chili, cheese and cooked onions that I purchased were very tasty. The chili had just the right consistency and the cheese actually tasted like cheese. The bread wasn’t stale and the dogs didn’t taste like they’ve been sitting in boiled water for a week. The food was fresh. The lady running the hot dog truck was extremely welcoming, quick and courteous. For anyone looking for a quick bite and tasty hot dogs at a very affordable price compared to other food trucks I’ve stopped at, this spot is a winner. They also offer hot sausage, Dr. Browns soda, chips and cookies. The food spot is perfectly located right at the corner of an intersection just off 9A and Croton Dam Rd. Give them a try. You won’t regret it!“

The cafe feels spacious and even has a great patio area once it gets warm. They have good chairs and is a place you can get work done.“

“We drove up to Yonkers to shop at HMart and found this bakery inside the store. It is a takeout only location as there is no seating. Very nice selection of items and we bought a couple to take home. Will eat later.
The store is right on Central Park Ave long with lots of other shopping
