Most amazing and delicious healthy foods & drinks 🙌🏻so many places to sit outside especially on an amazing day
Very accommodating toward vegan options (offered vegan milk and whipped cream, alongside vegan options). The strawberry match and chickpea sandwich were delicious and filling!
The atmosphere is great and peaceful. It’s homey and also there is plenty of outdoor seating. The mocha latte and pistachio loaf were very good, but the sausage biscuit was below average. Overall great experience and friendly staff!

Based on the reviews, Southdown Coffee is one of the best coffee shops in Glen Cove. The coffee is excellent—smooth, rich, and consistently well-made. The atmosphere is bright with tons of natural light and a cozy vibe. It is set inside a converted 1800s home, which gives it a very cool, unique feel. The food is great, including the egg sandwich with bacon, avocado toast with real flavor, and the chickpea salad sandwich. The staff is incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. However, customers would love some sugar free options for syrups and matcha. Also, the Wi-Fi service is a little spotty, and during renovations, the non-stop drilling sound can make it hard to relax. Despite this, it is a gem of a café with great energy and excellent customer service.
