It was our first time here. The lobster appetizer was much to be desired. The filet of sole lacked flavor, was bland. The trout was okay, needed salt and pepper. We expected better.
So many of my friends had so highly recommended Encore, that I had to try it and I wasn't disappointed. Cozy Parisian Bistro atmosphere, family-run vibe and food that impressed even my Manhattan food-snob friend who dined with me. Prices very fair considering the quality and generous portions. Definitely worth a visit and I'll be back...
Great food and excellent wine menu. Service was solid. Atmosphere can be a bit cramped and loud when it’s full but is cosy enough. Also have round tables for larger groups (6), which is always a nice perk. Great for a casual dinner or for a birthday/anniversary dinner.
