Bento Asian Cuisine

Excellent Asian cuisine in Latham! We were recommended to this place by a local foodie group, who raved about their food. I am definitely particular about my food, though not a snob! I just have high standards. Bento meets and exceeds them every time! We've been coming on average 2-3 times per month, and I'm always satisfied. The food is tasty, not greasy, everything is freshly prepared, served hot, the service is warm and friendly, and the prices are more than reasonable in today's economy! Excellent value for what you receive. You can tell they take pride in their hospitality and food. Our favorites are the bento boxes, shrimp shumai, hot and sour soup, any of the sushi and chicken and broccoli. Highly recommend!

Really great, fresh fish for sushi and poké. I got the Big & Wild bowl on my last visit: Ahi tuna, salmon, yellowtail, spicy tuna, avocado, cucumber, masago, crab salad, mango with spicy aioli, wasabi aioli, eel sauce & shredded nori.
Everything was presented well and tasted great. I ordered online and was a little confused about the cost for sushi rice, whether it's already included and extra is added for the fee or not, but either way, it's a very good value.

The chicken fried rice from here tonight was the best I've ever had in the area! Just the way I like it. General Tsos was good. Hibachi Beef Bento box was delicious.

Food was tasty but be careful here if you have food allergies. I asked for something to be made with gluten free soy sauce (I have a wheat allergy, thankfully not severe but enough to make me feel unwell). It was marked as GF but it definitely was not gluten free because I had an allergic reaction shortly after eating.

Ok everyone. Bento has really ramped it up. Last order was a delivery. Portion size outstanding. Delivery time with their own staff excellent. Food quality, freshness, seasoning, presentation: out of the park. The little things matter like fresh peppers, mushrooms and meat. Perfect amount of sauce. I commend the ownership, leadership and skill of the staff.
