There's no secret to a great Philly Cheesesteak. Use decent quality shaved (not sliced) beef, season it well, cook it on a flat top, and chop the living hell out of it. Add cheese, mix the cheese into the beef then throw the mess on a sturdy roll. Optionally, top it with sauteed onions and/or peppers. Easy, peasy, zapaneasy. This was great place overall. You get a high quality steak at a great price. I love this place. The cook/butcher was very friendly. I enjoyed the flavorful steak. You will not need steak sauce. My streak was cooked to perfection. They add a nice seasoning to the steak. I got the flat iron. It was a big piece of meat. The fresh vegetables were delicious.
I love this place the sandwiches are all fantastic. I think it's the best Philly cheesesteak I've ever had and they always have at least one or two delicious beers on tap. If the special is ever lamb chops get it!
