We returned to our former home for a weekend visit after 20 years. Latham was a regular go-to spot when we lived in Troy and Watervliet. We were amazed at how the dining room looked so similar with little signs of age or wear and tear. The staff was friendly and food was plentiful. Just like old times.

Very friendly waitress. Our food was delicious (the usual breakfast fare— omelette, pancakes, French toast —which was made from thick challah bread). Large dining area, not a long wait to be seated. Decor dated but it’s very homey. Clean. Fair prices for a diner

Very friendly service, food is always good here. Chicken pot pie was very good first time I have had it here. Update to previous post, the sliced roasted turkey is very good, there was enough for 2 people. Comes with a choice of soup or salad, I chose the baked potato and mixed vegetables. Comes with stuffing and cranberry sauce and sour cream.

It's a diner! You get everything you want and expect from a diner. Very good basic food. Friendly, efficient service, coffee refills, reasonable prices, with a bonus of a free cookie at the register!
