Had lunch yesterday, with two friends. Food was good. I normally don’t have dessert, but ordered the espresso gelato, and it was good, but a little pricy at $10. I ordered a latte, which was in a small size coffee cup for $5. My two friends ordered coffee for $4. They both got free refills and I assumed there was not free refills on my latte so I asked for a coffee refill when the server was refilling my friends coffee cups. The server gave me a half pour in my latte cup. She billed us for one latte and three coffees….so I was charged $5 for the small latte and $4 for my half cup of coffee, which was probably about 3oz of coffee, so $9 total for my “coffee”, plus the $10 gelato ($19 for just the coffee and gelato) plus the price of my meal. Makes Starbucks look like a bargain. A very expensive lunch! I’d recommend skipping ordering coffee and dessert. And shame on the server for charging me $9 for a small latte and a splash of a coffee refill.

We had a Caesar salad, the halibut special, and a shrimp pasta special. Everything was delicious. Milano is a gourmet restaurant and I have never been disappointed with the food. Service was excellent. Ambience is nice, though noisy as the tables filled up. Cocktails are well made and generous. Pricey but probably in line with the ambience, service, and gourmet food.

Our server Lia was lovely and we enjoyed our night, from the first glass of wine to the last bite og gelato. It was very loud when we arrived at 7:15pm but by 8, some of the early crowd had left, making conversation easier. Warning to those with mobility issues: 1. Bathroom stalls are not ada compliant ( both men's & women's have 1 stall with grab bars, but only a standard stall with 20" door, can't turn a wheelchair) 2. When we were there , placement of tables in the restaurant left no pathway to those restrooms. Staff tried to help, but it's awkward (to say the least) to have to ask other diners to leave their table so you can use the restroom.

My husband and friends have been regulars of Milanos for years and we always enjoy our dinners there. I have to say though that last night's meals were exceptionally wonderful. The presentation and the quality of the food were amazing. My friend loved her salmon dish and my swordfish (one of the specials of the night) was the best swordfish I have ever eaten in my life. The vegetable that came with it were delicious as well. Our hats are off to the chefs. Keep up the wonderful work. Thank you also to our waiter who was so wonderful and took such good care of us. I'm embarrassed to say I kept meaning to ask him his name, and I just never did. He provided the same great service the last time we were there, so I will definitely make it a point to ask his name the next time we dine there. Thank you!

In all honesty the margarita pizza from milano is probably the worst pizza I have ever had in my entire life. It should not even be on the menu - it had soggy pink tomatoes with barely any basil and huge cloves of garlic, in no way is that what a margarita pizza should look like. The entrees came out lukewarm if not completely cold on the inside. I have eaten better tortellini in Olive Garden. You also pay $15 dollar for a specialty cocktail that has minimum effort put into it. I understand paying $7 at a college bar for it but $15 in a restaurant for a mediocre drink is an atrocity. We were seated at an end table/booth centimeters away from others and the bathroom door which kept slamming onto our backs every time it opened. They also told us they had no steak AFTER we were already trying to place our order. Terrible service, food, atmosphere. Save your $200 and go to olive garden for better service.

Horrible experience. Slow service accompanied with poor food. There was no steak nor did was the menu online consistent with the menu in house. Very sad. I am still starving and spent 2 hours there.

We've been to Milano's several times in the past and always had a nice time. This particular visit was the best primarily due to our waitress "Morgan" who was exceptional throughout the entire meal. Great personality and answered all our questions regarding meal selection, drinks etc. Also, we explained to her that my wife suffers from Essential Tremors and has difficulty holding a glass. Morgan brought us several options including a plastic cup that turned out the best solution to have some wine with the meal. Only thing we noticed was the portion sizes are much smaller than a few years back, but still delicious.

Our waitress was the bartender, granted no rush, but seemed a bit distracted. Left messy tables for quite some time after everyone left. Pizza was good. Nice beers.

First experience here. Ordered takeout. Had to call two times as was on hold both times. Priced too high for what was provided. Cup of soup container was half full. Caesar salad was size of small dinner salad. Croutons like stuffing cubes. The two dinners were packed in small containers. They were flavorful. Bread was good. No butter but oil was flavorful.

We love this place and it's our go-to for special occasions. We dine there ~12x a year. We made reservations for NYE prior to the Prixe Fixe menu ($89 per per 3 courses...apps and dessert were nothing special) being posted. We didn't cancel because the chef always does a great job. I have a theory that "busy restaurant good service and a slow restaurant is slow/poor service". NYE at Milano was just that... Service was horrible... we had to pour our own wine , stack our dishes and wait for an unusual waiter sighting. The course were at room temperature and delayed. The dining room was empty... we are assuming the Prixe Fixe menu with only 3 courses was the cause. We will definitely return due to many years of good food and good service. Just a very disappointing NYE.

We were greeted by the hostess, seated at our table AND poured a glass of water by our server all within 3 minutes of walking in the front door. That to me is the way to start a dining experience. Going forward everything went as it should. Our drink order was taken and promptly delivered, same with the dinner order and dessert. Food was outstanding. Can't wait to go back.
