Seoul Korean Restaurant

I used to love this place, but this most recent experience has disappointed me a lot. The food and service have gone downhill for sure. The tteokbokki (we ordered mild) seemed to be a watered down version of the medium/hot version. The osam bulgogi barely had any squid, and the vegetables were undercooked. The bulgogi lacked sauce and was dry. The chicken fried rice was bland and was served to us without chicken. We brought this up to the server and the extra $3 for the chicken was not taken off the bill. Dolsot bibimbap and chicken mandoo were very good.

On top of this, we waited for at least 20 minutes for the rice to be served to us after the bulgogi dishes arrived at the table. We had practically finished our entrees by the time the rice arrived.

I understand that mistakes happen, but the service did not make amends for the errors. On top of this, the food was disappointing. It is clear there has been some unfortunate changes to the restaurant. It’s a real shame because I used to love this place. I hope to see improvements in the future.

I really enjoyed my visit to this Korean restaurant. The ambiance was very chill, and it wasn’t crowded when I was there. Food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. I got the seafood pancake, grilled pork belly, some soup, and a kimbap. It was all good and fresh. Super tasty, highly recommend!

On the quest of finding a good Korean restaurant around me, found Seoul Korean on Google and hence we went there. We were group of 8 so called and reserved. When we went it was 8pm so the place was quiet. However, they gave us a private space seating. Honestly, was not very hopeful when we walked in but as the food came, each of them were really good. Plus, our server was very cheerful and friendly, which was like cherry on the top. So far, this place is best Korean restaurant in Albany, for me. Will be coming back for sure.

Food is great but beware that things are not listed correctly on their online ordering. I wanted to order jjajangmyeon but the rice option is under the “noodles” selection with a photo of noodles. I wanted noodles not rice I also ordered it spicy but it had no pepper flakes in it or anything seriously disappointing :(

Fantastic authentic Korean cuisine!!!! Everything we ordered (and we ordered a lot haha) was so delicious, sides and all. 10/10 service was also great!

What a pleasant surprise to have an authentic Korean restaurant in Latham! The food was delicious and hot. We tried various dishes since there was a group of us.

The woman (owner?) was very kind and friendly who took our orders but understaffed. She was the only person taking orders and serving all the tables. Hence, it took a LONG to get to us and to get our food. Even though the service was a bit lacking due to being understaffed, I would still come back. The pig feet itself is worth returning!

I love our dinner at Seoul Korean restaurant. Such a fantastic selection of all authentic Korean dishes. They brought out an assortment of veggies to nibble on. (Pictured) My bibimbop was delicious. Everyone really enjoyed their food and we had a great time
