First of all, we ordered butter chicken and instead we got a weird disgusting grey sauce. Secondly the food quality was horrible and we got cheap brown rice. Very expensive.

Spice & Beyond Grill in Latham, NY, offers authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine, receiving mixed reviews for its food and service. Customers have praised the Nihari for its tender meat and rich flavors, which some found exceptional and reminiscent of traditional home cooking. The Chicken Tikka also garners positive feedback for its seasoning and taste .

On the downside, some diners have mentioned inconsistencies in food quality and pricing concerns. The restaurant is known for its authentic spices and large portions, but some dishes, like curries, have been critiqued as overly oily or unbalanced . Service and ambiance are generally rated positively, with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere.

For anyone seeking flavorful Halal options in the area, it might be worth trying, particularly if you enjoy traditional dishes like Nihari and Chicken Tikka. However, some diners advise being mindful of pricing and specific preferences regarding spice and oil levels.

This is not a chicken biryani, which is two pieces of chicken on biryani for $17 ..... the taste is horrible and f spicy with naan bread 3 of 10 on the bread.... first time and last time here 🚮

This order was this morning. One chicken biryani has 3 pieces of chicken on it and two naan bread throwing all to the garbage 🚮

See the screenshot of the payment of $17.27

So I'm not mistaken. This is your restaurant

I went to this store with very expectations. Food quality has to improve more otherwise why should we come?
Look at the picture. I took them but they charged $14:57. If the owner saw this please make sense.
I grabbed a cup of tea but I felt it was hot water.
If your food quality is great, money is nothing but I am disappointed.
Take care guys😐

The food is authentic but not very good and very overpriced. The loud call to prayer music was a distraction, especially when I was the only one in the joint. Disappointing.

Decent food. I would not come back again though. I’ve had better halal-type food at other places.

I absolutely love this place. I order atleast once a week for me and my husband and 2 year old daughter. Their chicken gyro over rice is honestly one of my favorite things I've ever ate. And the "white sauce" is to die for, I could drink it by the gallon. And it's sooo affordable. You get a whole take out container of chicken and rice, it's got to weigh 3-4 lbs, and a big piece of Naan (absolutely amazing) for $10!! I can't even finish it, me and my daughter eat like half of a container and we are stuffed and save the rest for lunch the next day. It's so hard to find a whole meal for $10 anymore, let alone a whole dinner and lunch for the next day. I can not speak highly enough about this place and I recommend it to every person I know. It's a MUST try!!

Wheelchair accessibility: They have ramps to get inside.

This place fell short of my expectations. The afghan kabab had way too much lemon, the achari chicken was very bland and the lamb shank was very average compared to other lamb shanks I’ve had. The only thing relatively good was the malai tikka. My mom can make much better and overall I wouldn’t come and try this again
