Seriously, this place is amazing. My daughter and I LOVE this place. Today we had Green Curry (see picture), Pad Thai, and Thai Style Basil. We're taking home Red Curry and Pad see ew. Tried many things on the menu and always on point. Moved here from the west coast and finally found a legit place. On top of that the staff are great. I couldn't recommend this place more.

We were greeted by a very friendly waitress when we arrived at this restaurant. I really like the decor inside and there was no wait. We were seated right away at a booth.
The iced tea and Thai iced tea were both delicious. We ordered the Curry noodle soup, Drunken noodle with vegetables, and the yellow curry. Everyone was happy with their orders.
I definitely recommend this restaurant! Service was quick and constant too. We were checked on often and drinks were refilled without being asked too. Even though they were busy.

Ordered takeout from Tamarind a couple of weeks ago and, unfortunately, the food was not up to par with other Thai restaurants in the area. Maybe the chef was rushing or something that night or the main chef was out, no idea. The pad Thai I ordered was separated from the sauce, so it was like a clump of greasy noodles, undercooked vegetables, and some goopy sauce. Ive never had that happen before with Thai takeout. The curry was super liquidy and the veggies were undercooked in it as well. Seemed like they just didn’t spend enough time on either dish. The staff were kind and pleasant, though, and the restaurant looked like a nice place to eat.

So guddddd
The fact that there’s a sign on the bathroom saying “restroom is for customers not drivers” is pathetic you would not be making your money if it wasn’t for drivers ok there’s absolutely no reason why you should be denying a delivery driver the bathroom. That’s just nasty. Be thankful you got drivers to delivery your food to make you money to keep your business running. I don’t no why people are so nasty to others but it’s disgusting

This place is legit! I was trying to find authentic Thai place in the Capital Region and happy to say that this is my new favorite. I ordered fresh rolls and pad Thai for takeout online on their website. The website was easy to use and I had no issues placing my order. I was able to add that I cannot have shrimp and eggs in special instructions and the restaurant honored my request. The wait time to pick up was 15 minutes and when I arrived my food was ready for me but still hot. I will have to stop by to eat in the restaurant because the decorations were so beautiful and the place was so clean! The woman who greeted me and gave me my order was so friendly and happy to see me. They placed special cardboard in my takeout bag so the food does not spill. Love the attention to detail! She also asked me if I wanted utensils and napkins, which I declined, and thought was very smart and good for the environment. When I got home and tried the food, it was still hot and so delicious. MASSIVE fresh rolls and best sauce. The Pad Thai sauce was amazing as well and chicken was so juicy and tender. They even gave me a lime wedge. The portions are MASSIVE and prices are very reasonable. I have lunch enough for 2 days now. I will come back again!

Pad Thai was inedible. The noodles were overcooked, there was absolutely no flavor. They had limes in the dish and I’m severely allergic to them. Nowhere on their menu or description states that it has limes in the dish. I’ve ordered padThai times from other places and never once have I had limes. The egg rolls and pot stickers were completely burnt in an edible. I called the restaurant and the woman answering the phone, states she’s sorry and not to order again and hung up the phone
Absolutely amazing here!! I have been looking for a good Thai place in the capital region and was not one inkling of disappointed. I wish I had come here sooner, I had heard about it but never made the trek, and I’m so glad I did. The ladies here are so sweet and obviously a community favorite. I will definitely be coming back 🥰

My first time here and can honestly say this one of the best Thai foods I've had in a long time. Portion was ok (have had larger for same price at other thai restaurants), and taste was excellent, delicious, and left a sweet lingering taste in my mouth. From the outside, you couldn't tell how nice and spacious it is in here, but from the moment you open the door, you feel this warm, cozy, relaxing ambiance draw you in. Will be back to try my other favorite dishes, but this one was a great hit. Definitely recommend checking the place and dishes out.

I absolutely love Tamarind! Easily the best Thai food in Latham.
It really hit me when I realized just how sad I was when they closed for a few weeks to give their employees time off.

Go-to lunch spot in Latham for me. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but don’t let that fool you. The food is delicious and fresh and the service is excellent. I love the massaman curry and the pad thai. Always get a Thai iced tea when I’m there as well. Sweet little under the radar place.
