PortoFino Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

We received an ice cold pizza, a burnt chicken roll, and a burnt order of grilled chicken. We order from them at least weekly but will never spend another dime in this establishment. When we called to kindly ask what could be done as the food was inedible we were told “that’s not logical” after telling him that the pizza was very cold. Then we’re told to “go **** yourself”. ps having to write “****” because this site doesn’t allow profanity. We returned the food ourselves to the restaurant after being told to go **** ourself and were denied a refund or replacement. I’ve worked in customer service my entire life and had some negative customer service experience but this one takes the cake. They will never again get a dime from us and i will be reviewing them on every single forum i can find. Your customers are the reason you have a job. We should be treated with kindness and respect especially when we are giving you kindness and respect. Spend money in businesses who appreciate you spending your hard earned money to keep their doors open… not ones who tell you to GO EFF YOURSELF!

As soon as we walked in, we looked at all the different pizzas. The manager Wally, immediately said you have to sit in the front to eat pizza. We wanted to eat in the dining room. We weren't sure what were going to eat. We said a pie. We were again told quite rudely no. Even a pie you have to sit in the front. Wally was dismissive and rude. We did eat in the dining area but we took the food in our selves. It was empty. We were regular customers, no more. However the pizza was great. ? the way we we're talked to and treated.

We went there for dinner. Wanted a salad, pizza and wine. The older staff were very rude. Told us no wait service for pizza. We had to order at the counter. The pizza was good but the older staff were very nasty. Think twice before going there if you only want to order a pizza at the table.

****BEWARE THIS PLACE WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU*** Watch out especially if you order this place from uber eats. They will randomly add a $5 charge saying that you added a new item. This is a well know scam that restaurants will pull. There is nothing you can do to dispute the charge. DO NOT ORDER

3 out of 4 meals were good, very empty( just us and another table)on a Thursday night... why? The penne ala vodka w/grilled chicken was not edible, left behind yet server did not remove from check, that was odd. No apologies, just stated it was a very popular dish! They have been in business for as long as I could remember, which has to mean something. Give it a chance, hopefully you will be treated better.

Terrible customer service. Half of the delivery order was not sent. I never leave reviews but I felt the need to after I was lied to by whoever was on the phone and told that the items were never on the order to begin with. I have the receipts from DoorDash to prove this is untrue. Good thing I can dispute charges through DoorDash because whoever I spoke to said “it’s too late for us to send them to you anyway” and hung up the phone. Will never come again.

This place use to be good. They stopped their prefix dinners and very skimpy on food. No salad with your entree and don’t go if there is a party going on. They run out of things and wait staff rushes you

I went to pick up my tuna wrap and it was sitting on top of the oven me not realizing this took it home and realized the Styrofoam was melted into my sandwich. When I went to return it they refused to give me a refund. This place has sub par food I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Pictured is the greasy bag with fries.

This was my go-to pizza place as a kid. Used to come here often for lunch and dinner. Grabbed a slice to go tonight and it was delicious. I got a chicken alla vodka slice. Hit the spot!! Speaking to the customer service I see in reviews, the guy that helped me was very nice.

Use to love this place. It has gone downhill a bit. I was in today around 11:30 ordered a deep dish chicken vodka slice and a slice of Sicilian. Sicilian was good but the vodka slice was left over from yesterday. Not cool when you charge $6 for that slice.

Food was good. What I did not respect was the bald guy in the front having a nasty rude and impatient attitude. Because the color of my skin I guess he thought it would be fine to try talk to me in Spanish, while being rude, when I spoke to him perfect in English . Not sure if he was trying to be funny but, that made me extremely annoyed. Calling someone (buddy) without knowing who the person is, is also disrespectful. He should be careful the way he approaches customers. Next time It won’t be taken lightly. The least he could of done was put napkins on my tray when I was served but didn’t. When asked at the end he gave me a rude attitude as well. I felt uncomfortable eating here, yet stayed because I knew it would boil his skin. Like I stated, food was good, but service was horrible. I work in the banking industry, I have many big investments going on and I guess because of my appearance, he tried to be little me. Which is something I do not respect.

I’m a business owner, customer service is most important. My wife ordered food which included soup. It fell through the bottom of the bag all over me and burnt my stomach and legs. We were upset but mistakes happen. The cover for the soup container was not on all the way and the steam made the bag weak and boom soup on stomach and lap. We called the restaurant to kindly ask if they could send out another soup and the manager yelled at my wife told her that it was impossible for their food to burn anyone that all they can do is credit us in the future (we’ll never go there again anyway) and wouldn’t allow her a moment to speak. If you’re going to be in the service industry, service needs to come first. Really disappointed in this place and won’t send our business there anymore.

The food literally tasted like they just through cambells tomato soup on top .. they used to be so so good this was not even good enough for my dog

Good day everyone.... well very simple I love it.... I asked the guy who was serving my wife and I was also taking care of customers coming in to get stuff also so that's pretty good.... also I told him how I wanted my meal and exactly how I asked for it to be done and my wife also everything was properly cooked and spicy ? and just delicious.... it's mouth watering...fried calamari and clams with linguine and and wonderful sauce and chicken parmesan with spaghetti and sauce and I asked for everything to be spicy ? and wow yes it was.... loved everything....so that's why I gave this restaurant 5 stars and the place itself is really cosy and nice ????? so I am recommending everyone to go and I'm certain you would love it as well and the guy name is Dominic...he definitely deserves 5 stars ?????....so go try it out....

Had a slice of pizza. It was tasty, but 2 tables near the ovens were not washed/ cleaned after a some lazy customers left cups,plates. had sticky surfaces coverings a table. had 2 tell a guy 2 clean after i left.
