I just had a "famous fish fry" from Apple Granny, it was not very good, the fish was soggy and undercooked and flavorless, the rest of dinner was edible. I may have got a bad piece of fish that was undercooked?

Not the worst meal I've ever had, but definitely very basic, if you're thinking of ordering the shrimp cocktail don't!!!,$15.95 and you get six shrimp pulled from a shrimp ring, it wasn't delicious or aesthetically pleasing, just thrown together.

Everything was excellent, as usual. Service was friendly and attentive, food came out quickly and was lovely. We didn't know that traditional style battered fish and chips are only available on fridays. We were able to order fish and chips, but it was prepared a different way...with a bread crumb topping. Had an amazing beer on tap, a seasonal one called Southern tier pumpkin king. It was pricey at $9.50 a glass (didn't know, price wasn't written on the chalkboard or on the menu) but was excellent.

We were staying in Niagra Falls and searched for a nice Homestead restaurant.. we found this one online.. We drove about 20 minutes and are thankful we did. A very quaint homestyle restaurant in this quaint village with great friendly service and great food. We are now planning our next vacation in the quaint village of Lewiston NY.

Do not get the lasagna. There was NO ricotta in it!!! Only noodles, sauce and mozzarella. I never had anything so bad, my friend had the baked fish with garlic butter sauce and it was the blandest fish I ever tried, she let me have a taste of it, horrible, no seasoning. I spoke with 2 couples who had the fish fry and they said it was delicious. That must be what they are good at, but not a good experience.

We waited for 1.5 hours. We thought the result would be nice, but it was a big disappointment. Food was ordinary, salads were ordinary. Chicken parmesan was very basic. They poured tomato sauce on it, I couldn't taste the chicken or anything. Pasta wasn't even cooked properly.
