The food was delicious, but the best part was Katie and Bryn were outstanding at seeing to our needs. We enjoyed the service and social engagement. “Visiting the falls wanted to enjoy a local flavor of comfort dining. Our group comprised a family of British, Trini and US plus kids. From beginning to end nothing but high praise. What you would expect from the local family diner. Great service, conversation, food and general warmth. Karen, Lisa, kitchen staff and patrons alike all made for a great experience. “Lucked out with a last minute reservation on a Friday during peach fest for a 12 top. Our awesome server Christina, was on point, very personable and friendly, did a top notch job. The food was deliciously inventive culinary art! The craft cocktails were divine. The atmosphere is full of feels of airy dark eclectic shabby chic. Perfect all around 1000% will go back!”

“Excellent flavor and presentation. Gourmet burgers disguised as fast food. Besides the burger I had a hot dog with cheese, also super tasty and not the same old hot dogs every restaurant around here uses. This one had a unique flavor profile. Really good!!! “Good food and an excellent location with a wonderful view. Highly recommend a trip here at least once. Only criticism would be the prices are pretty high for the portion sizes. $17 for fish and chips with one medium size peice of fish is pretty steep but the atmosphere is worth it.”

“My family has a business on Center St, and after having an absolutely wonderful visit with one of the staff, decided to order the gluten free pizza. It came highly recommended, and did not disappoint! The crust was great, the toppings were premium, and our kids were very happy. It can be hard finding gluten free options, let alone something this delicious. We'll see you often!

“Chicken finger sub was delicious! Fingers are not average pizza shop ones. They are much better. New Co-owner Chuck came out to meet me and ask about the food. He was super friendly and the kinda business owner you feel good supporting. I'm definitely eating there again.”

“Visited twice while seeing family in Lewiston. Drip coffee and iced brew were both so good. Love the options they provide for the drip coffee. Muffin and scone and both were delicious. Scone was very hearty not as crumbly as a traditional scone but we all know how recipes vary. Still delicious. Service with a smile and upbeat attitude both times. Atmosphere is so neat. Welcoming and hip without being pretentious. Definitely recommend. So nice to have a shop open early too for us caffeine addicts who rise with the sun.”

“The village bake shoppe made my wedding cake 1 year ago today. We froze our leftovers. Today we took the cake out of the freezer and it tasted just as it did the on that day. It was AMAZING. It brought back memories of our special moment. I highly recommend this bakery. ♥️ Absolutely blown away!”

“The Bread. Go for the bread. We were visiting the area from out of town and this is the go to place for bread. So delicious. We bought five loaves to bring home…always worth it! Prices are fair and service is very very friendly. Baked goods are also yummy!”

“Pretty good Chinese place. We order from here frequently. Reason for 4 stars is inconsistency and cash only. Sometimes the food is great sometimes it’s just ok. Pretty sure the cash only thing is just a means for tax fraud or to fleece people for the $3.50 atm fee though.”
