“My favorite winery in Niagara on the lake. It’s not only a beautiful organic farm but the owner is present and so passionate about each wine you’re tasting. “My husband and I visited Niagara on the Lake for the first time yesterday. We stopped into Fritters on the Lake and were absolutely so impressed. Not only was the lunch recommendation on point; the fritters were absolutely amazing. However, the best thing ever was the service! Zoran was the kindest person ever and when I spoke to my family by phone later in the day-he was the first one I told them about. I’m not sure when I’ll make it back but Fritters on the Lake will be my first stop and everyone that is headed that way will have my highest recommendation. “We visited here yesterday, just before going to the show and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Good selection of brews on tap, across the spectrum of styles. They also had a very nice selection of one off sours, in bottles, to sell. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. We learned a lot while chatting with him. We loved the clean, modern look of the bar area. We did not get upstairs to the patio, but we will do that next time. What a great place. We will definitely return.”

“What a fabulous pub, the food and drinks were great but the staff are outstanding. We went for dinner/drinks 2 nights in a row when we were in Niagara on the lake celebrating our anniversary. The second night” our 41st wedding anniversary at the end of our meal Kaitlin brought us a dessert and an anniversary card signed by all the staff that Mieriam our waitress the night before had left for us, it really ment the world to us. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you all the next time we are in Niagara on the Lake.”

“Positives: Food was great with fresh ingredients. Very tasty. Good quality.

Negatives: Waited 30+ minutes for anything to arrive from the time we ordered. Same experience for everyone else in the restaurant that day. If you’re coming with a wine tasting tour keep this in mind as we had to box alot of our food as our allocated lunch time ran out.

Servers could have been more aware of this and give a warning for long wait times or update on how far along the food was.

Conclusion: Despite this, if not on a time limit, I would eat here again.”

“I have tried almost fifty wineries in the Okanagan, and decided to try five wineries in Niagara on my way home from Europe and Morocco.

I thought the tasting contraption was really neat.

Out of the five wineries I visited (the others being Innis, Nissen, Jackson, and Stone Eagle) this was by far the busiest. However, Olivia made time to have my tasting right away and talked about each of the wines.

Despite being a solo customer, I was encouraged to stick around and pose for pictures.

I shall recommend this winery to my friends.

The Vidal Ice Wine is a must try.

I paid $15 for 4 wine samples. That is half of the price for Innis' impersonal 3 ice wine tasting flight for $30.”

“Christina made our evening wonderful. I was looking for something nice for my son that included exciting well, well-crafted flavors and balanced proteins, veggies, and starches. LIV had several small bites, great portions, very good wine selection and knowledgeable staff. We witnessed management going the extra mile to handle a guest that seemed to be complaining over nothing but were treated well for their perfectly cooked steak. We liked the amuse-bouche, palate cleansers, and surprises as much as the dishes we ordered.”

“We enjoyed the three-course tasting menu at Benchmark! Our server Pauline was incredibly helpful in explaining the different dishes and helping us decide what to select. The food was absolutely delicious. So many delicious and unique flavours! I enjoyed the Cornish Hen, the Winter Chicory Salad and the Sticky Toffee Pudding. The sourdough bread was also so incredibly fresh and delicious. This was a fantastic opportunity to try unique dishes at an affordable price while supporting our local students. The future of the Niagara culinary world is bright!”

Stocked up on our favourite wines for Xmas gifts and now their New Sangria’s where do I begin with those, The Sempre sparkling wine is Amazing. Love when you open the door to their establishment you are welcomed with the smell of wine. It’s so familiar feels like you are at home celebrating with your big Italian family and catching up with your relatives. That is my experience .”

“My boyfriend and I visited Konzelmann winery yesterday for the first time and it was beautiful! Our server Alex was amazing and ended up being from the same county as us. He had so much knowledge about the wine and knew exactly what to recommend. He gave the perfect touch of knowledge and personable stories during our visit. Highly reccomend their peach wine!!”

“Went on a Sunday evening and was able to be sat without a reservation no problem. Patio was great. A few large parties but ambiance was still great, noise level was tolerable with it being outdoors.

Ordered their orecchiette pasta and classic pepperoni. Pasta was amazing. Presentation + flavour was absolutely amazing. Pizza, however was mid at best. Saw photos of their pizzas online but was still a little shocked by how thin they were. For being wood fired, we still had some expectations. Unfortunately, it dwindled as dinner went on. Because of how thin it was, the pizza gradually got cold unable to retain heat. It also didn’t help the temperature dropping as the night went on. Hard to fault the restaurant for this, but maybe something to keep in mind throughout the patio season?

Overall, would come back but it wouldn’t be for their pizzas.”

“Awesome bakery with lots of home made goodies and coffee and tea. We stopped while we were strolling the area for a cup of hot coffee on a cold day. The ladies working here were kind and patient and made sure that I could safely consume their alternative milk products. The coffee came out hot and fresh. We didn’t fret baked goods this time but we will make sure to get some next time we visit.”

“Love this place! Would absolutely frequent it if I lived in the area. Yeah it's a bit pricy, as the lounge of a historic hotel in a picturesque, quaint tourist town - Niagara On The Lake. But it's very comfortable inside with excellent food and service. The decor is old fashioned high class with books on the shelves, a fireplace, etc. Our server was super nice and professional. Our food was fantastic! They have a variety of taps and drinks to choose from. They have very comfortable chairs, a nice fireplace, and checkerboards embedded in some of the window tables. There's a small proper bar. They also have covered outdoor seating. The bathroom was very clean and nice. The horse and carriage tours also seem to be right outside, at least when we went.”

“I go to this Wendy's once a week or two on average, because the service and food quality are consistently good; few errors/issues over the years.

I've taken one star away, because this Wendy's and its staff never put mustard on the burgers; they provide mustard packets instead! The day of this review update, I ordered two single burgers and got only two little mustard packets for my burgers.

Convenient drive-thru for take out orders.

I often order using the Wendy's mobile app, but it's still buggy and sometimes frustrating. However, functionality with saved/favourite items seems to be better now.

Usually, we are ordering burgers & fries for the family, but also enjoy the chicken burgers and salads.

Perhaps most importantly, this Wendy's always gives me some of the most delicious fries, when I ask for the fries to be "extra crispy, double-downed" - be prepared to wait EXTRA LONG if you do so - the longer it takes to bring those fries, the better!”

“Visited Pizza Hut with my family. Ordered Canadian pizza and small pepperoni for my older daughter, she is a picky eater. We were met by Baban,she was very sweet and helped with choosing the best pizza for us. We will definitely be back to taste other dishes”
