“My husband and I visited Niagara on the Lake for the first time yesterday. We stopped into Fritters on the Lake and were absolutely so impressed. Not only was the lunch recommendation on point; the fritters were absolutely amazing. However, the best thing ever was the service! Zoran was the kindest person ever and when I spoke to my family by phone later in the day-he was the first one I told them about. He sat down with us the last two times when we were visiting. Love the Chardonnay, rose and sparkling wines offered. Always one of my stops when I’m in the NOTL region. “We visited here yesterday, just before going to the show and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Good selection of brews on tap, across the spectrum of styles. They also had a very nice selection of one off sours, in bottles, to sell. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. We learned a lot while chatting with him. We loved the clean, modern look of the bar area. We did not get upstairs to the patio, but we will do that next time. What a great place. We will definitely return.“

“Everything about Palatine Hills Estate Winery was wonderful. We hadn't set up any tastings for this day so we were looking for something approachable and willing to accept us in more casual clothing! 😁The entire team here was lovely, knowledge and welcoming and the wine maker was bopping around to have chats and answer questions which was so fun. The wine itself is delicious and there is something for everyone to fall for and for every taste profile! I would definitely recommend and, if I lived in the area, would be a regular!“

“What a fabulous pub, the food and drinks were great but the staff are outstanding. We went for dinner/drinks 2 nights in a row when we were in Niagara on the lake celebrating our anniversary. The second night” our 41st wedding anniversary at the end of our meal Kaitlin brought us a dessert and an anniversary card signed by all the staff that Mieriam our waitress the night before had left for us, it really ment the world to us. “During our visit to Niagara Falls, we spent a day and a night in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and one of the most memorable places we visited was Inniskillin Winery.

The winery is in a beautiful setting, and the wine-tasting experience was especially enjoyable. The tasting area is spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating, so it looks like they can accommodate quite a large number of visitors.

We decided to try a tasting of three different ice wines and also ordered some snacks to go with them. The staff were extremely friendly and patient, taking the time to explain the different wines, how ice wine is produced, and what makes the process special.

The local snacks were also a nice touch and paired well with the wine. Of course, after tasting several of the ice wines, we ended up taking quite a few bottles home with us!

Overall, it was a wonderful experience — not just a place to buy wine, but a place where you can learn about ice wine and enjoy the beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake wine country. Inniskillin is a well-known name in Canadian ice wine, and if you’re visiting the area and interested in trying or buying ice wine, I highly recommend stopping here.“
