“We had a wonderful tasting experience with Bree today. She’s very knowledgeable on wines and vines on site. Love her positive energy and enthusiasm. Thanks so much for making my day.“
“Southbrook is distinguished by a warm and welcoming ambiance, enhanced by exceptional service. The team serving us in French offered us a unique and personalized experience which greatly enriched our visit. Bill, the owner, was clearly engaged as they interacted with visitors. They also made suggestions for vineyards that we greatly appreciated.
The originality and selection of wines are remarkable, offering high quality organic biodynamic wines. The tasting is particularly well orchestrated. The aesthetics, although minimalist, correspond to the values of the vineyard.
Our favorites include Poetica Red, Sparkling White, Marlot Estate and Triumphe Gamay, all a must-try. In summary, Southbrook is a must-visit destination for wine lovers, offering great value for unique wines and a memorable experience.“
“Great food and amazingly creative drinks. Not just for adults. There's games for children. The ambience is perfect and the staff were hysterically funny. I can't wait to bring my girlfriend back. Try their wood fired pizzas! We're definitely going back again“
“We booked the private wine tasting for 4. It is a room with bar stools. No food is allowed which was problematic for my mother who had a medical condition and needed to eat something.
The person doing the wine tasting was ABSOLUTELY amazing. She spent time explaining to our group the steps to get the full experience. We all had an amazing time trying new wines and most of all the experience of the tasting was the most memorable for us all. I highly recommend.
The ice wine is the best part of the sampling. I was worried it would be too sweet but it was absolute perfection. I typically like a semi sweet or off dry but their CAB ice wine was everyone’s favorite.
We did get pizza afterwards and again the staff was very accommodating and amazing. We had a great server. The salad was delicious. I didn’t think the pizza was all that memorable but my mother said it was very good.
I recommend this winery and stop for lunch.“
“My husband and I enjoyed a wine tasting. We also had a charcuterie board. The wines were very good. We purchased 2 of the reds. We also bought some cheese that we had on the charcuterie. It is a very quaint European feeling winery. it was very enjoyable“
“Charming destination for wine enthusiasts ?
Excels with Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Riesling, made in a low intervention, complex style for enjoying at the table, and often benefiting from bottle aging.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff, and the welcoming atmosphere.
The owner was a pleasure to chat with!
Cheers!“
“fantastic service from Megan today! the wine selection is amazing, so many good choices. There are a few blends that they have that were AMAZING. Definitely will be back soon! Thank you Megan & Marynissen staff!“
“Nice little winery with indoor seating and outdoor patio covered seating. They also have a more private I door setting in the back for bridal parties etc.
They were extremely busy with cycle wine touring groups but we were able to get a spot for 2 no issue.
We had 4 tastings each (of anything on their menu, seltzers included) for 20$ each and they had a promo where the flight fee is waived if you spend 50$ when purchasing bottles. They also had case sales going on.
We found a wine we both loved, but due to not having any space to carry a bottle home, we'll be looking out for it in the LCBO.“
“Remote estate, in the vineyards, very beautiful, clean and pleasant place.
We took advantage of a guided tour at 11:30 a.m. and discovered the entire process from grape to bottle.
We tasted 3 wines accompanied by the sommelier.
It was interesting, pleasant and delicate.“
“We visited today for The Ice Wine Festival, Dimitri (from Pig Out) was a great and friendly young man and passionate about what he was presenting to us- roasted pig, which was amazing! Jeff from Reif was also very accommodating with the lovely Ice wine for The Ice wine Festival. With visits like this it makes for a wonderful afternoon! Thank you Guys!“
“We had a wonderful time here and learned a lot during our wine tasting. We will definitely be back!“
“Decent winery. We did not find anything on the tasting menu we liked, it was already curated and not customizable. Our host was very knowledgeable of the wines they sold and brought us a few extra wines to try. We ended up buying those that they suggested to us.
The building and grounds has a very over the top modern feel to it, fits it's vibe as a new boutique winery. Great views off of the patio.
The vibe is more of , we know what you will like vs we might have something you like.
If it wasn't for the staff and their knowledge we would have had a much more negative experience. Cheers.“
“I had family visiting from the U.S. and was interested in doing the winery tour. Unfortunately we were too late for the scheduled daily tour. However, we got still got tour by Brad who spoke to us about the history of winemaking in the region, different wines, the college and vineyard/winery. It was very educational and interesting. The rest of the staff was lovely as well. Highly recommend!“
“Ariana made our wine tour an absolute delight! Her storytelling brought the history of the vineyards to life, and her suggestions for tastings were spot on. She created a perfect balance of fun and education. A must-do experience with her as the guide!“
“I took my wife to Niagara Falls for our anniversary. On a tip they said to go to Niagara on the Lake and the wineries around it. I saw this place on the map and we took an Uber to check it out.
We were glad we did because this was an awesome stop. The owner was incredibly friendly. The farm was cute. And best of all the wine was awesome.
We both especially liked the ice wine. But there were a lot of good options.
Word of warning: they don’t ship outside of Canada. So you might not be able to buy if you flew in.“
“Great spot! Was originally called Small Talk Vineyards and just this July 2022 it has been sold and being renamed. No official sign, but everything says "Shiny Apple Cider". The staff is very friendly and helpful. We each got a flight if the different types of cider. They were all really good! My favorite was the watermelon mint Cider. Lots of space to park and sit down outside to enjoy your cider.“
“YES! The best red in this region was the cadenza! I don’t drink reds usually but this was amazing. I felt like I can drink it with a salmon or sushi it just melted my heart“
“Great place and awesome people, beautiful wine“
“I highly recommend visiting this winery !!!! They will take you on this amazing journey of wine making. We came here for my future husband's 50th birthday, and wow, we were blown away ! I highly recommend taking a blind tasting with Cubby. He took us on a wonderful journey of wine tasting and making. Don't think about it. Just come. You will not regret it. This is high-quality wine. Grab a few bottles and enjoy !“
“great family owned place friendly and knowledgeable highly recommended“
“Booked a private tasting. It was not private. We shared the space with other groups. Our person advised it was because another group took over the normal area. It was a problem for me because I had to walk up multiple flights of steps with a walker. But the view was worth it in the end. The view of the vineyards is remarkable.
Our wine person was very friendly and was able to track down the wines I was most interested in sampling. The tasting came with 4 samples that you select from a list.
I was lucky enough to sample the Pinot Noir Off Dry. It was so good I bought 3 bottles.
Our group enjoyed the wines here.“

“Great place... wheelchair accessible... lovely people... simple, tasty bits to eat... yummy cider. Rhubarb cider? Look forward to returning.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wide, accessible parking spots. Paved lot. There's some gravel between the lot and the walkway leading to the entrance. Maybe 10' Likely ok for manual and power chairs, but might not be great for people unsteady on their feet. Big, heavy doors, but they are equipped with push door openers. But they were not turned on. They apologized and fixed the issue immediately. Theo brought a lower table to an inside window spot without having to be asked. Lovely person. Kate (hope we remembered correctly) is a friendly and knowledgeable server. A pleasure! And Shannon... thanks for the tasty bits. We wish you every success. We did not check the bathroom accessibility.“
“Visited Peller Estates winery on a weekday in November and was not very busy . Booked Greatest winery tour for 4 and tour started on time with guide giving in depth explanations about the wines to be tried. Tour lasted about 45 minutes and ended with visit to ice cave. Nice “igloo” style room with plenty of ice wine and nice decor. We continued to wine store/bar and tried additional wines as part of the Wine Club. Very much enjoyed everything.“
“We always make JT our last stop when we are enjoying NOTL wine tour!!
Save the best for last!
Our tasting expert this time was Doug ~ what an absolute pleasure he was! Taught us about the wines, helped with choices in our flight & introduced us to a sparkling Merlot!! Oh my!! Thank you Doug!
As well, all of the staff on this day were exceptional - super friendly!“
“Incredible time! Went here for the yearly Halloween tour/movie.
Strongly recommend.. very cozy and not at all overcrowded.
The ghost tours were very informative and spooky at the same time! The winery is beautiful and the team did an amazing job with Halloween decorations, fantastic snacks and of course the best wine ?
The cellars are a must see!“
“This is a beautiful winery. The parking lot has plenty of space, even for an RV. Inside is a gift shop, next to a wine tasting space. I didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurant, but I was able to find a bottle of one of their rose' wines in the gift shop.“
“Excellent afternoon, well informed staff“
“Just finished a double date outing and it was a blast. Highly recommend doing the tour! Cal was our tour guide and he didn't skip a beat! Our group had a lot of questions and he was very informative, friendly and kind. Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon with a group of friends“

“We went for a wine tour on 12/7 for our anniversary at Trius and our tour guide was Barry who was exceptional!! Barry was professional, very knowledgeable and a great guide throughout our experience sharing stories, taking pictures for us and of course providing us with some great wine and cotton candy. I just wanted to thank Barry for making our experience amazing and perfect, so thank you so much for that!“
