“I’ve never been a butter tart fan - BUT that has changed forever (if they’re from 13th Street’s Bakery) I picked up a couple pecan nut butter tarts and raspberry & Coconut butter tarts!! “My favorite winery in Niagara on the lake. It’s not only a beautiful organic farm but the owner is present and so passionate about each wine you’re tasting. He sat down with us the last two times when we were visiting. Love the Chardonnay, rose and sparkling wines offered. Always one of my stops when I’m in the NOTL region. She was incredibly sweet, professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had a great experience. “Everything about Palatine Hills Estate Winery was wonderful. We hadn't set up any tastings for this day so we were looking for something approachable and willing to accept us in more casual clothing! 😁The entire team here was lovely, knowledge and welcoming and the wine maker was bopping around to have chats and answer questions which was so fun. The wine itself is delicious and there is something for everyone to fall for and for every taste profile! I would definitely recommend and, if I lived in the area, would be a regular!“

“Stopped here for the first time yesterday morning. My knowledge of wine is there is red, white, and pink... so I feel intimidated walking into wineries. Not Flat Rock! The crew at the door as we walked in were very cool and very down-to-earth making the experience relaxing, enjoyable and somewhat educational without feeling judged! Here's where it gets even better. My wife sorts out what flight she wants and when it came my turn I said I didn't really know, I'm more of a beer drinker! "We have beer"! We have choices from Shawn & Ed Brewing Co. in Dundas (LagerShed Original is very good). This was the icing on the cake, now they had 2 very happy visitors. Thank you for a great experience, the location is quite stunning. My wife, Les really enjoys your wines and the beer rolled you to the top of the visit list when we're back in the area.“

“This was our first time visiting Niagara Custom Crush. What a great opportunity to sample from at least a dozen businesses that make and retail their wines at this facility. We had a flight of 4 oaked Chardonnays to compare the different styles of winemaking and the vineyards that the grapes came from. It was a nice mix. Some of the bottle labels were interesting too. Staff was very helpful with information on the four wines we tried. They also offer charcuterie to accompany the wines. The grounds are well tended and there are lots of places to sit and enjoy your selections. Indoor seating is offered as well. Overall it was a great experience and we'll be back to sample some other varieties.“

“Ok, I’m not a wine drinker, but what I can share is the GREAT experience I had in the cooking class. I’ve visited NOTL for the past three years and each year, I take the Saturday cooking class with friends. It never disappoints. You (I) always learn something new and always laugh, joke, enjoy, and eat a terrific meal prepared by me and a friend. Highly recommended. Great for couples or girlfriends or even corporate outings. I may not be a great cook, but I manage (under supervision) to make an enjoyable meal.“

Stocked up on our favourite wines for Xmas gifts and now their New Sangria’s where do I begin with those, The Sempre sparkling wine is Amazing. Love when you open the door to their establishment you are welcomed with the smell of wine. It’s so familiar feels like you are at home celebrating with your big Italian family and catching up with your relatives. That is my experience .“

“We visited Trius after sunset so unfortunately we did not get to visit the grounds. The restaurant was beautiful and the food and service were phenomenal.

Many times we walk away from Michelin star mentioned or stared restaurants hungry but that was not the case here.

We had one lamb, one pork, and one cornish game as our mains. All there dishes were fresh, well cooked, and the flavors were refreshing and balanced.

I wish we lived closer. We also punched some bottles of sparkling to take home to California. The sparkling is very much champagne style.“

“As a wedding photographer, I really enjoyed working at Harbour Estates Winery. The vineyard setting is just beautiful. There’s a nice variety of portrait locations right on the property, and just a short walk down to the water adds an amazing option for sunset photos.“

“This was our second stop on our biking tour.
The place is quite popular and extremely busy with tour groups dropping people off.
The location is very nice, we opted not to do want sampling even though it's my partners favourite winery.
We ended up purchasing a bottle of their pinot noir and going to the observation deck to see some great views of The vineyard with spots to take photos.“
