“We were a group of girls celebrating a bachelorette. Upon sitting, received complimentary bubbly. It tasted amazing. Our server Danny was wonderful and explained each dish before we ordered. We had the Hen, fish, lamb and mushroom for entrees. All were amazing. Highly recommend to get the lamb. Our apps were asparagus and broccoli. The broccoli was our fav. We also tried the brioche- highly recommend! We ended with the chocolate mousse and some espresso for the table. Overall a wonderful experience and beautiful patio. Will be back again! “We visited here yesterday, just before going to the show and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Good selection of brews on tap, across the spectrum of styles. They also had a very nice selection of one off sours, in bottles, to sell. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. We learned a lot while chatting with him. We loved the clean, modern look of the bar area. We did not get upstairs to the patio, but we will do that next time. What a great place. We will definitely return.“

“Positives: Food was great with fresh ingredients. Very tasty. Good quality.

Negatives: Waited 30+ minutes for anything to arrive from the time we ordered. Same experience for everyone else in the restaurant that day. If you’re coming with a wine tasting tour keep this in mind as we had to box alot of our food as our allocated lunch time ran out.

Servers could have been more aware of this and give a warning for long wait times or update on how far along the food was.

Conclusion: Despite this, if not on a time limit, I would eat here again.“

“Went here with my girlfriend for the first time last year. Now it's one of my go to places for either pizza or subs in Niagara. Love their assorted sub, chicken parmesan sub and pepperoni pizza which goes great with their garlic dip. Highly recommend Italian pizza and subs.“

“My husband and I live in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We have had many a breakfast at this lovely cafe. The service is always been cheerful and the food very good. They also have a busy drive thru service.
I love the BLT sandwich with an egg. And my husband always goes for the three eggs sausage toast and sometimes sliced tomatoes instead of the potatoes. Coffee always good and hot.
We have never seen tables left with dirty plates or cups. I think the person who wrote a recent bad review lacks empathy and understanding how difficult it is to run a successful family business. This is a family owned and run cafe and they work very hard every day.
We will continue to enjoy breakfast or lunch at the Sono Cafe in Virgil

“Stayed here for weekend birthday. Got breakfast as part of my stay. I am single traveller. Staff was fabulous from start to finish. Food was great as well. Staff is the strength of the place. They are courteous, efficient and most pleasant to deal with. Lovely place to stay and eat.“
