“This is a very nice place, the staff here are very attentive and come quickly after pressing the red button- or that was because the place was pretty empty.

And then to the food, their appetizers really are light and easy to have before the real meal- which in my case was the BBQ. I do recommend bringing a good cook though since you are to cook the meat on your own.

Even the decoration and interior matched what it is supposed to be, overall 10/10 rating! I'll definitely love to come back here for vacation 🙂‍↕“

Keep in mind, you were getting homemade fresh dishes, so expect to wait a little and be patient for the quality. We've read a lot of the complaining over Google reviews, but we also heard about the standards in which this restaurant operates. I can tell you firsthand, don't let people‘s personal feelings interfere with the quality dish that you're going to experience here. The bill can be as high as you'd like it to be, but don't expect a cheap walk if you're not looking for cheap food. My white and I came here on a date night, put money aside for the most fantastic Italian dinner we've ever had, and it was well worth the $275 plus a well earned $50 tip. “My Mother and I came in for lunch, as we often do. I had the Thai Green Curry with seasoned chicken and she had a 5oz steak with onion rings. Dusty was our wonderful waitress and we couldn't have been happier with the service that she provided. Our food was delicious but we thought that it could have been a little bit hotter as far as temperature was concerned. Some items were just warm and not hot. That aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and Dusty did a great job.“

“This was our first time at the lock, some friends suggested we try their pizza. First of all the air conditioner was so high it felt like it was going to snow. The service was slow but friendly, to be fair it was quite busy and so we felt that was a good sign about the food. We ordered 3 pizzas and we'd rate the pizza a 6/10. Most likely won't go back. Gave 4 stars for overall rating because our server was sweet but gave service a 3 because while we were eating our food that took 45 minutes, there was another server who was stacking chairs and spraying tables, not the best atmosphere to eat in.“

“I called the week before arriving to inquire about a large group seating, the hostess took my name, number and size of party. She asked me to call the day before to confirm, which I did. We arrived earlier than expected and had to wait a little bit so current diners could finish up and give the staff time to setup for the 38 of us. I was very pleased with how friendly and accommodating the staff was for the size of our group. A group of 38 adults and youth hockey players from is a lot to handle. Not one complaint from our large group. I would definitely recommend and will, happily, return when in the area again.“

“I brought friends here on Dec 27th for dinner. Both are preety picky about where they eat, and I had assured them they would like it here. Very happy that I was not left disappointed. We had a wondeful dinner with them enjoying the turkey dinner and adding yorkshire puddings to their dinners( not sure, but they are infactuated with YP) I had the trio with shephards pie, chicken pot pie and steak and ale. It was great. They are still talking about this restaurant, so we will be back on the next trip to the falls. Thanks so much.“

“I have severe food allergies and our server went above and beyond to accommodate. He either knew every ingredient or ran back and forth to double check things. “Hi. We were visiting from The States and found your Quesada at 3643 Portage Rd in Niagara Falls. The online pictures looked amazing, so we decided to give it a try. I am glad that we did. The food was fresh, delicious, and abundant. The service was fast, friendly, and engaging. We even met the owners, Anand and Neeta, and they were beautiful people! Within seconds, they made us feel right at home. I cannot express how much we enjoyed our lunch at this Quesada. The salsa is simply delectable. I cannot wait to come back. The brown sauce on the rable goes great with nearly every dish. Very friendly staff. The wait for the food wasnt horrible either. Very courteous. My daughter loved her food aswell. Deff going to be a return customer over and over. So fresh and fulfilling.“

The restaurant is an old house from 1850s guys! Think about dining back in time. Sooo cool! If you love history you’ll love eating here!
Food was outstanding and there are also yummy vegan choices.
The lady of the house is beautiful in every way, great host, all veggies are from her garden and she knows to cook!
I read a review here complaining about seeing her feeding the cats outside on her front porch.

“Visited this restaurant Friday July 17 at around 5:30 pm. We had the dinner buffet which was $30 a very reasonable price, all the food was amazing. From the soup, potatoes, butternut squash soup, chicken soulvaki was juicy and the dessert options were good. The owner came around to all the tables to ensure customers were happy with the service. Shout out to April she was friendly and provided us with exceptional service. Will be returning here soon.“
