The Lock Wood Fired Pizza Reviews
This was our first time at the lock, some friends suggested we try their pizza. First of all the air conditioner was so high it felt like it was going to snow. The service was slow but friendly, to be fair it was quite busy and so we felt that was a good sign about the food. We ordered 3 pizzas and we'd rate the pizza a 6/10. Most likely won't go back. Gave 4 stars for overall rating because our server was sweet but gave service a 3 because while we were eating our food that...read full review
We recently held our our daughter's 16th Birthday family dinner at Lock Wood, for 18 people, and it was excellent. From the minute I called to make the reservation, to the minute we walked out the door loaded with leftovers, the service was impeccable, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was joyful and fun! The Lock Wood Fired Pizza is a restaurant that serves delicious pizzas with solid toppings and well-portioned ingredients, typically ready within 20 minutes. The high-quality ingredients allow for large portion sizes without causing sickness, and prices remain reasonable, usually around 10-15 dollars per pizza. Popular dessert pizzas, like the Apple Cinnamon, add to the appeal. The staff is friendly, with Jewel, a regular server, treating guests like family. While the service can be slow during busy times, it is often accompanied by a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is a hidden gem in Port Colborne, perfect for both dine-in and take-out options, and features an enclosed patio for added comfort. Recent visitors have noted the deliciousness of Nonna's Meatballs in fresh tomato sauce, the fab Hawaiian pizza with A1 crust, and the lightest crust ever on the Meatlovers pizza. With great beers from Brimstone Brewing and delightful desserts like cannoli, guests are eager to return.
