A small pot of mashed potatoes, two baked potatoes with all the fixings, a giant bowl of sautéed mushrooms and a large portion of asparagus.”

I've been getting food from the Chinatown kitchen for almost 30 years and it's always been consistently tasty, even while so many competitors have begun skimping on quality. The only downside that I've experienced is that the restaurant no longer handles deliveries themselves, an unfortunate side effect of Covid and the increase in delivery services. They are now only delivering through said services, which cost more and increase delivery times drastically.”

Our waiter Anthony, was such a friendly and professional and adorable human being. So kind and had such an infectious smile and didn’t seem to mind our cringey dad jokes. He was prompt with our service and had no issues answering any of our questions.The food.. THE FOOD!! Absolutely spectacular. Unfortunately, I’m a bit picky when it comes to food. I love my flavors and I’m very keen on things being cooked right. I’ve had quite a few bad experiences which always makes me wary of new places. However, Chef Kevin didn’t disappoint!! Everything was bursting with flavor and melting in our mouths. Not a single complaint! We had the special dinner for Valentine’s Day and we chose the coconut shrimp with mango coulis - honest to god, I could put that coulis on ANYTHING it was that good and the shrimp was perfect! I had the caprese salad and my husband had the ceasar salad, again - perfect. For our entreés, my husband had the surf and turf with purple potatoes and grilled asparagus, and I had the pan seared honey roasted duck breast and a confit leg with a cherry sauce with roasted brussel sprouts and a sweet potato stack and looooorrrddd - we almost licked those plates clean!! Everything was cooked to perfection and had the most amazing flavors. And you can’t forget dessert, The Village Bakeshop coming in with the clutch on super juicy chocolate covered strawberries, and this chocolate covered mousse with a cake-like bottom and a cherry center. Magnificent!! 1000000/10 would recommend and we will DEFINITELY be returning! They need to open up their reservations for next year so I can make mine!!”

“Never been a guy who is like, I want to eat at longhorn. But would when convenient or it was suggested. My experience tonight was so flawless it makes me excited to continue coming. Jamie was awesome and full of personality, Kenny the manager was very kind and checked on us. Literally, perfect! All the food was cooked as we would have wanted and we came in late when expectations usually go down. Well they blew us out of the water!!!! Thank you team!”

Had my fill and scrambled eggs weren't wet, greasy or rubbery like at other places, instead were right on point, easy to handle, cooked until fluffy and at a decent serving size. There was a reflection of the sun right in our eyes off a car that parked right at the time of the day the sun would be in just that one spot right above it, and the waitress and fellow patrons sitting by the window were awesome and lowered the blinds so we could eat comfortably.”

The Molcajete is possibly the best I have found after MANY samplings from Texas to Georgia to New York City. The unique addition of catfish made it sing! Beautiful presentation, as well. “As someone who really really really likes wings and had many birthdays at BW3 I can confidently tell you that these wings are superb, I got the Garlic Pram Wings and 10/10 crispy goodness, soft and tender meat, and all soaking in the mouthwatering garlic sauce, I didn't get but can say I saw someone's order of chicken fingers and those fingers are HUGE!!! The group I was with got different levels of hot and I was told it was pretty accurate but they live for the heat and would be happy if there was an even hotter wing. The staff were incredibly friendly and were able to sit out big party quickly. The staff were also very attentive and did a great job! Not taking off any stars but the one little comment I have is I don't like how low the stall doors are in the bathroom.”

Being very picky about our steaks and not familiar with restaurants in the area so we read the reviews on this one and decided to try it. What a great surprise. Let’s start with the steaks. Filets were right size, cooked as everyone wanted, tender and tasted great. Others had a variety of other dishes and all were very happy with the quality, taste and portions. The service was exceptional and in today’s environment a surprise. And the restaurant was classy, tables not crammed in and a great view of the river. Will be back next time in town.”

“Absolutely the best beef on Wick I’ve had in my life and I have tried so many. A friend told me I had to try this because I’d really enjoy it. That’s all he said. The Beef Wick is absolutely perfect. It literally melts in your mouth. The fries with gravy Were great everything we had was great. the bartender is also the waitress and it took about three glasses of wine before we got our food. so I would recommend buying a bottle it enjoyed the atmosphere. it was just a great night out. And if you need to feed a family, order two chicken parms on Thursday ! Huge portion you can split at least two ways but can get 3 servings out of one order. You will not be disappointed!”

The bathrooms are spacious with lots of stalls. It's the only bar that I feel comfortable going to by myself & I know there will always be a friendly face to chat with. Renee & Grace are fantastic bartenders! Tip them more than what you would normally at other places and see what happens!”

While inside I seen a team trying there best to keep up with both. Drive thu & online!!! maybe need a few tweaks on the system to help out the confusion on who gets what. “This was a good experience. So much so that we went 2 out of 3 days on our trip. The lines move fast and the food is made rapidly. Everything was good. We were able to get a table each day by basically spreading out and grabbing one as soon as it opened. Had my fill and scrambled eggs weren't wet, greasy or rubbery like at other places, instead were right on point, easy to handle, cooked until fluffy and at a decent serving size. There was a reflection of the sun right in our eyes off a car that parked right at the time of the day the sun would be in just that one spot right above it, and the waitress and fellow patrons sitting by the window were awesome and lowered the blinds so we could eat comfortably.”

He was prompt with our service and had no issues answering any of our questions.The food.. THE FOOD!! Absolutely spectacular. Unfortunately, I’m a bit picky when it comes to food. I love my flavors and I’m very keen on things being cooked right. I’ve had quite a few bad experiences which always makes me wary of new places. However, Chef Kevin didn’t disappoint!! Everything was bursting with flavor and melting in our mouths. Not a single complaint! We had the special dinner for Valentine’s Day and we chose the coconut shrimp with mango coulis - honest to god, I could put that coulis on ANYTHING it was that good and the shrimp was perfect! I had the caprese salad and my husband had the ceasar salad, again - perfect. For our entreés, my husband had the surf and turf with purple potatoes and grilled asparagus, and I had the pan seared honey roasted duck breast and a confit leg with a cherry sauce with roasted brussel sprouts and a sweet potato stack and looooorrrddd - we almost licked those plates clean!! Everything was cooked to perfection and had the most amazing flavors. And you can’t forget dessert, The Village Bakeshop coming in with the clutch on super juicy chocolate covered strawberries, and this chocolate covered mousse with a cake-like bottom and a cherry center. Magnificent!! 1000000/10 would recommend and we will DEFINITELY be returning! They need to open up their reservations for next year so I can make mine!!”

When we first arrived they told us the wait would be like 45 to 60 minutes, but after a few minutes they told us a server was willing to stay past his shift to get us seated and served. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The hostess seemed rude, but the server was exceptional. He was very pleasant and helpful. The majority of our food was fantastic as always! One of our guests ordered the prime rib, it came out burnt to a black crisp. The server was fast to get her something else to eat.Dietary restrictions: Applebees is usually very accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions or requests.
