“Absolutely loved our dining experience last night! Truly our only great restaurant on Pine Avenue left! An one of handful of truly great restaurants left that are a genuine pleasure to dine in the city of Niagara Falls, NY.“

“Wanted a real bar, not a hotel bar while in Niagara Falls. Walked up and they had a Molson Canadian beer light in the window, found my bar. Walked in and went to the end of the bar by myself and ordered a Molson. The bartender, Frannie, said they didn't have it, haven't in years. Disappointed at first, but reminded of a lot of my hometown bars.
Sat alone drinking my beer when one of the regulars ordered a round of Duck farts. She then looked down at me and asked if I would do one too, I said sure. After the whole bar did a shot she invited me down to join them and asked me my story. We chatted a bit and then she introduced me to everyone in the bar.
I stated playing pool with two of the regulars and asked one of them what were all the plaques on the wall. He told me pool tournament plaques, as I beat him. Wasn't sure how that would work out. I bought a round of Duck farts and it was all good.
Had a great time. Areal local bar. Walk in and respect their house.“

“There no one running the kitchen now but when it was running food was good,I myself have done a lot of drinking and having great times at Dave's. My 2 job ever had was there..I work with Emily,Deb, Kathy,Candy m,Red headed candy, Ron ran the bar And we ran that kitchen EMILY'S WAY I REMEMBER BRINGING HER THE MONEY BAG EVERY NIGHT..WE WERE THE HOG DOG LAST CHANCE THEN THANKS TO TRISHA AND BUDDY BOCKMIER THERE THE 2 THAT GOT ME IN THERE❤️GOOD OLD MEMORIES GOOD TIMES NOW I GO THERE EVERY MONTH FOR MY UNION MEETINGS THAT WE HOLD THERE WE ARE UAW LOCAL 2571 OUT OF NIAGARA FALLS DAVE ALLOWS US TO USE HIS BACK ROOM EVERY MONTH FOR OUR MEETINGS AND HE ALSO ALLOWS US TO HAVE OUR UNION CHRISTMAS PARTY'S THERE EVERY YEAR FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS NOW WE HAVE MUCH RESPECT FOR DAVID AND APPRECIATE ALL THE HELP FROM THEM ALL,

Parking: There a huge parking lot there should never be a problem

Wheelchair accessibility: It's all 1 floor and all 4 bathrooms are big enough for any wheelchair to get in to with no problem ?“

“Brought the new year's in at this place nice people the bartender was very nice made a good drink the shot she made was good im not a chocolate shot drinker but it still tasted there was a couple in there they were polite they sat next to im more of a listener than a talker place worth stopping by“

“I love places like this. This is America.
Family owned and run, straightforward, great food, and genuine people.
We asked for a recommendation and ordered several Beef on Weck sandwiches. Thin sliced seasoned beef on a Kimmelweck roll with incredible flavor. If you’ve never had one, the Kimmelweck roll is part of what makes the sandwich so good. The coarse salt, caraway seeds, and sturdy roll complement the juicy beef perfectly, especially with plenty of horseradish added. You can see why this became a Western New York classic.
We also had the fried bologna sandwich with hot peppers, which was packed with flavor and done right. Portions were generous and everything we ate was excellent.
But a review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the service. The owners stopped by to talk, and they were authentic, friendly people. It felt like a local hometown spot instead of being halfway across the country from home.
Places like Jon Fre’s are what make traveling memorable. This place deserves to be an American icon. Don’t miss it, and definitely order the Beef on Weck.“
