“Enjoyed an excellent dinner tonight at Savor. Food was delicious-there were four of us—two of us had the pork chop and the other two had the Swiss burger. Well prepared, juicy, tasty. Would have again. The $30 prix fixe dinner offers appetizer (we had the crab cake and the goat cheese and quinoa salad), main course and dessert (all excellent). Student/servers did a great job. Hats off to the chefs. Will return. Make sure to get a reservation.“

The locals that were there were also very nice and helpful. They even gave us sleds to take with us so that we could go sledding! The atmosphere is one that makes you want to stay for a long time. “1st time trying the food at the dog house today! Omg I was extremely happy with the entire experience. I ordered fish and chips, onion rings and ate my husband's chicken tenders. I was full from eating my food but I honestly didn't want to stop eating cause it was so good. I highly recommend this place. Can't wait to go back. I fully intend on going there and trying every thing on the menu.

“Been meaning to come here since they opened ... a few years ago? Finally got the chance. The menu seemed okay but we just ordered beers. I got a Southern Tier Irish Coffee Cream Ale. It was absolutely delightful. I'll definitely check the spot out again. Seems like it'd be a good place to watch a game.“

The nature of the location means you have to park a little further away, but there is ample parking if you can walk a ways. Will absolutely return to this place next time I visit Niagara Falls!“

“My husband and I started a tour business and our very first tour was to the Stevensville Garden Gallery, Betty’s for dinner followed by the Winter Festival of Lights. I cannot say enough about the amazing service we received from Betty’s but firstly, I have to say that while planning our tour, Joe was extraordinary. He was so patient and understanding whenever changes arose and when our reservation ended up being smaller than we had originally thought it would be, he was extremely kind and compassionate. When we arrived at Betty’s Restaurant with our tour group, my husband and I were even more impressed by Joe and his team. We had brought our toddler along on our tour and as our group was being escorted to our table to be seated, our daughter who was absolutely obsessed with Peter Rabbit at the time was saying that she’s hungry and with her big imagination, she was actually pretending to be Peter Rabbit. Having overheard our daughter, a plate of baby carrots was brought to the table for our toddler before our group could even finish placing our order for drinks with our server. Our group was not even seated for more than a few minutes when the carrots arrived, and my husband and I were so touched by the thoughtfulness that was shown to our little girl. It goes without saying that the food and the service was incredible and we could not have asked for a better place to bring a tour group. We all had a great time and Betty’s Restaurant was definitely the highlight of our first bus tour. Joe and his team went above and beyond for us; from the moment we started planning the tour to the moment our group left the restaurant, we received exceptional service. “I love places like this. This is America.
Family owned and run, straightforward, great food, and genuine people.
We asked for a recommendation and ordered several Beef on Weck sandwiches. Thin sliced seasoned beef on a Kimmelweck roll with incredible flavor. If you’ve never had one, the Kimmelweck roll is part of what makes the sandwich so good. The coarse salt, caraway seeds, and sturdy roll complement the juicy beef perfectly, especially with plenty of horseradish added. You can see why this became a Western New York classic.
We also had the fried bologna sandwich with hot peppers, which was packed with flavor and done right. Portions were generous and everything we ate was excellent.
But a review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the service. The owners stopped by to talk, and they were authentic, friendly people. It felt like a local hometown spot instead of being halfway across the country from home.
Places like Jon Fre’s are what make traveling memorable. This place deserves to be an American icon. Don’t miss it, and definitely order the Beef on Weck.“

“Wow , what awesome food! We got lunch here, had hotdogs, buffalo wings and sweet fries and it was all soooo good. The chilli cheese dog was a very generous serving and the chilli had really great flavour. The sweet fries were cooked perfectly and crispy. Buffalo wings were the right amount of spicy and even the coffee was really yum. If you're on the USA side you need to come here! Amazing service , nice convenient location and really delicious good!“

“We had the ribeye steak, and even the “small” portion was 12 oz, so it was a very satisfying meal. The steak was juicy, tender, and cooked well. The free bread also tasted good. It is a good restaurant if you want to reward yourself with a hearty meal. We went around 8 PM on a Saturday and had no wait.“

“The Royal Cafe has a great breakfast. Plenty of choices are modest prices. Specials are unbelievable - very inexpensive - plenty of food and served lightning fast. The sausage gravy and biscuits is in another area code. Biscuits are nice and light - have the perfect amount of crispness. Sausage gravy is thick, perfectly seasoned with plenty of sausage! Service is really good and attentive - no empty cups here! Lots of good choices for lunch or dinner as well. A real gem!“

“Solid burger but too much grease. Once I opened the foil wrapper I noticed a mild layer of grease all over the buns. I immediately got paper napkins to hold it and wasn't surprised that I needed multiple as I enjoyed the burger. Once I was finished I noticed more pools of emulsifying grease now forming in the cooled foil wrapper. I can see the appeal for smash burgers with a added texture to the meal but personally I can do without them if they are typically going to result in this much excess fats.“

“It wasn’t just the food that was amazing but it was the hospitality as well from jasmine and Janet the 2 workers there. They made sure to check on me until my food came out and the wings were made perfectly not a lot of restaurants listen when I say crispy but these wings definitely were. I’m a picky person and won’t eat everywhere but the place was clean the music was appealing and it was nice cool in there. It’s 10/10 for me and I will definitely be back.“
