“I can’t express how pleasant this has been. I’d give both Tyra and Anna, our server and the manager a 10 star if I could. Dining with 3 young children is often not easy. This experience was so great! If you’ve never been it’s a must and if you’ve been you’ll be back for sure. “We are local residents and always enjoy the yummy Chicken Dinner here. Consistently good food, fair price, and our favourite part is when Charles is our waiter! He always make our day with his excellent customer service, great smile and just makes you feel good by being a genuine nice person!We miss the other location on off Thorold Stone Road, being locals we enjoyed not going into the more tourist area.However we are thrilled our favourite waiter Charles is now at this location, it definitely keeps us coming back.Hopefully Swiss Chalet will consider opening another second location for all of their local residents to enjoy once again.“

“We were introduced to The Eager Beaver through some family members who live near by. We are always looking for new places to eat in Niagara area that are out of the tourism area.The Eager Beaver is a sports Bar style restaurant, but the food options are better than average sports barsWe ordered fish and chips, wings, Chicken and waffles.The food portions are very large.The fish was lightly breaded and fried golden, and is served with fresh cut fries and mushy peas. very authenticThe wings are nice and well prepared.The Chicken and waffles were delicious.Our server was very friendly, attentive and helpful. She was excellent.I will definitely be coming back to this place, and probably making it a regular visit.“
“First time trying Melina's, walk by quite often and it's always busy, tried the 2 piece haddock dinner with fries over and coleslaw on Good Friday, was very good, good sized portions and the staff is friendly, will be back, I wanna try the eggs “
“My boyfriend took me here and while it’s definitely an interestingly situated building.. our experience there was amazing. The service was phenomenal and the entire staff were so friendly. The food deserves its own 5 star review as well, everything tasted like good homemade food. Before we even finished our meal we were planning our next trip, I hope they stay open for another 85 years!!“
