“First time going to Lodge on the Green for dinner - and it was amazing! The entire experience from calling to make a reservation, to the very end when we cashed out and left. I believe it was the owner who answered the phone, and took our reservation. He was so pleasant and even started a conversation because I have the same name as his sister.When we arrived, we were seated right away, our server came over and she fully explained the specials, brought us our drinks and was very helpful with every question we had with the menu. On Wednesdays they have half off appetizers, so we decided to try four different ones. We ordered the calamari, stuffed banana peppers, bang bang shrimp and fried mozzarella. Everything was so good! For dinner, I ordered the chicken Milanese with a side salad instead of having it as a sandwich, and my husband had the spaghetti with a single, giant meatball. They make their pasta homemade, and you can definitely tell! We finished off our meal with their molten lava cake and ice cream.I've only ever been to Lodge on the Green for brunch once, and that was an incredible experience. Now I can say that their brunch and dinner is absolutely exquisite and I would recommend this place to anyone!“

They have an ice cream counter with a large selection and very generous portions.They have whole, strawberry and chocolate milk which come in old fashioned clear glass dairy bottles. Very cool.This is strictly order at the counter and pickup your food when your name is called. They do a huge takeout business, at least for the fish fry, so all meals (even dine in) come in takeout containers. The quad tables are quite small, really only large enough for 2. The tables are quite close together.If you're looking for a dining experience, this is not your place. But if you're looking for really good food at good prices with a friendly atmosphere, this is your place. “We came to Buffalo from Pittsburgh for a few days and randomly picked Webster's for dinner. This place is simply a hidden gem. The food was incredible, and service... I was SO IMPRESSED by the services. It just seems lately (post covid) that people don't know what the service is anymore. Every single staff member was dressed to impress and our server Tom looked so sharp, was helpful, friendly, attentive and polite which just made this experience 10/10. I cannot recommend this place enough equally because of the food quality and selection and excellent service.“

“The steak special was a grade 9 wagyu steak which is comparable to A5 Japanese wagyu and it definitely lived up to its name. It was very delicious insanely tender melt In your mouth steak with mushrooms and truffles grated on top. The waiter knew an enormous amount of information about the food on the menu and was able to answer all questions we had. I personally recommend you come here and let the chef work his magic it was an amazing meal. I will definitely be coming back here again.“
“I've eaten in at dick and Jenny's before and it was cute, nice service, just dark. This time I did take out and it was so good! I got the chicken club which was grilled chicken, ham, melted cheese, bacon, lettuce tomato and it was delicious. My friend had the ribs and grits and also raved about how good they were. Since the first day of coming to Knead the Dough, we've made it a point to do so everyday for the rest of our trip. To start, the service is amazing. Every person on the waiting staff was incredibly kind and treated us like family. The food was absolutely fantastic. Hands down the best pancakes we have ever had. “Wife and I were looking to get away from the hussle of the city, and found this awesome diner down a road. Bug(I believe was the servers nickname) was a wholesome guy, didnt cut corners or make it feel off just to impress some tourists. He was down to earth and made us feel like locals. Family owned for 3 gens so far, surviving COVID plus whatever else the world could throw at it. This diner was the perfect getaway from the grind of consumerism. We got the Texas burger specially made for the misses for food allergies and they had no problem accommodating. The burger was cooked perfectly to specs and the fair style fries tasted like damn potatoes, gatta love it. If you hit the Old fort then take a stop for lunch and enjoy the quite cozy spot that feels like home.Kid-friendliness: There is nothing outlandish that would be bad for kids. “My partner couldn't stop singing the praises of beef on weck. We were in Niagara Falls at the end of September, and we came out here based on the reviews. We did not realize that they are about 10 miles from downtown Niagara Falls. It was so good, we came back the next day. They are extremely well worth the drive. A nice simple place, you can order outside in the front of the building, or inside. They have seating both areas. Everybody was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. They have won awards for their beef on Weck, and I can see why. You can get it with anywhere from 2 1/2 ounces for a lighter eater,, to a whopping 8 ounces of roast beef. The roast beef was tender and wonderfully flavored, the jus that they dip the top half of the roll in was heavenly, and I loved the kummelweck roll with the caraway seeds and salt. I can see why my partner is always singing the praises of this sandwich, and why it is a mainstay of the Buffalo area, For dessert, both times my partner had the frozen custard. The first time, I had the canoli ice cream. Delicious! It actually had pieces of canoli in it. The second time, I had the custard, and it was creamy and delicious. Much better than your standard soft serve. They are closed for the season, but they will reopen in March of 2024. . The next time we are in the area, we would stop by in a heartbeat. Thank you!!“
“I stopped in for lunch with my daughter for the first time. The two ladies that were working were outgoing and welcoming, with fun personalities. You can tell the customers love them by how they react when they come in. It was fun to just watch them interact. The food was good. I had the reuben and it came on huge slices of bread with delicious fries. My daughter had loaded tots and said they were delicious, as well. The restaurant was clean and the bathroom was too. I wanted to give them another try because I always feel like these types of bars have mediocre food during the days and then they step up at night when the rush comes in so I went in again on a wknd night and ordered the Cajun-Medium Double Dipped. Once again, I ran into 3-4 of the wings extremely overcooked but the other ones were 100% spot-on, flavor was killer and the chicken was on point. Only if I could get a full order of decently cooked wings then my review would be higher. Also docking a bit of a point because I was told their top shelf whiskey was Seagrams 7... I mean, I get its a local bar but really?Positives were that the bartenders were all super friendly and were flying around the bar. There was a large wait for bigger groups to get tables but that is expected on a Friday night in a smaller location like this. Parking lot was a zoo with people trying to find spots. Ample televisions on to watch the game and overall seems like a fun local spot.All in all, Id recommend stopping in if you are in the area. “Stopped in at a very early 7:15 (for me) time only to find the parking lot almost full. Was greeted by a friendly and cheerful waitress, Yvonne, and sat at the counter, rather than take up table space. I ordered Eggs Benedict and was not disappointed! Lightly poached, nestled on a crispy English muffin, along with delicious Canadian Bacon and a creamy, lemony sauce. “This has been a go-to spot for us for years. This review is way overdue. To say the food is great is to speak truth. From homemade Hummus, soups and desserts to specials every day (mac and cheese, Mexican, fish, etc) to the well written menu, everything is abundant and fresh. The servers are friendly and helpful. The only downsides are that the restaurant can be cool in winter and the wooden chairs can be a hard sit for e tended meals. But these are minimal when you dig into to food, served with a smile. “We had a date night in the area and I had heard of Squire’s so we thought we’d give it a try. It’s a quaint place with a dining room on one side and a bar down the other. We stopped on a Saturday night around 6:00 and the dining room was full so we sat at the bar. Rick was running the bar and we was fantastic. Such a nice and helpful guy. It was a pleasure to meet him. I had the pot roast special with fries and gravy while my wife had The Warrior which was a classic Beef on Weck with 5 wings. I couldn’t have cooked it better myself ! “I was recommended Sean Patrick's by family, so I decided to try it out. Overall, it was fine, and really, my only gripe was an obnoxious party filled with loud children screaming nearby. The staff clearly looked annoyed with them, so I think it wasn't something last minute and totally out of their hands.The food was good, I enjoyed the shepherd's pie and drink prices are very reasonable as well. Not to be taken negatively, but it seems like most of the crowd were older, so it's probably a quiet and easygoing atmosphere any other night. “Located in a strip plaza off Millersport Highway, Elmo's has been a reliable spot for lunch or dinner for at least 40 years that I can remember. They are as good today as they were in the 1980's, they remained open during Covid, and the quality has remained solid. Whereas chicken wings at most other establishments have been getting smaller in recent years, Elmo's continues to serve large, plump wings cooked exactly as you like them. In my case, I like them extra crispy with medium sauce. Their chili as they prepare and serve it is mild, but they will bring hot sauce to your table so you can make it as aggressive as you'd like. Their burgers are a decent size, they cook it exactly as you order it, and they are generous with the lettuce tomatoes and onions. For a dollar upgrade you can get onion rings instead of fries on the side and the onion rings are quite good. They don't have a huge selection of beers, but the beer they do carry is served, icy cold, in appropriate glasses, and their inventory turns over quickly, so you know you're getting fresh product. The bartenders mix a decent drink, not overflowing with ice. The restrooms are more than adequate. They have a dartboard for the patrons to use and very attentive waitresses and bus staff. They charge slightly less if you pay in cash. I have never been disappointed at Elmo's.“
“My family and I went to visit today and we absolutely fell in love with the actual diner feel of this establishment. Walking in was so cozy on this rainy Thursday! For sure a family friendly place. Staff and service were very sweet and attentive. Even gave my little dude some crayons and paper to draw on while we waited for our food. We ordered the kids silver dollar chocolate chip pancakes, mushroom and Swiss burger with fries (fries we're well seasoned and overall phenomenal), and my fiance had their biscuits and gravy(they were generous with the gravy ). We enjoyed every bite of our food. Nothing left behind. Parking was plentiful, and an easy place to find right on the boulevard. They have booths available as well as regular tables. Open everyday except Mondays. Wish we had photos to share but unfortunately the food disappeared pretty quickly.
