“My mother and I tonight had just went out for Kelsey’s for supper. I found the place to noisy and hard to hear in conversation at times. Service and food was great, shared this appetizer flatbread with my mother, she enjoyed her wings and onion rings, I had the Big Bacon Double Cheese 🍔 which was fantastic with 🍟 and 🥵 sauce. I was so stuffed after that, three Pepsi Colas to have a cold one after that meal. 5 from me. 😊“

“The Lazy Lizard was hopping last night- we enjoyed delicious food (the broasted chicken is my absolute favourite!) Service started out as a 2/10 from 3 servers, when we were seated I asked for a drink menu and was told they didn’t have one (when we were there 2 weeks ago and our server provided us with one). My fiancé spotted our server from 2 weeks ago (Andy) and went over and asked her for a drink menu; in which she reached above her head and gave him one. The server (our original server that started with us tonight) that told me they didn’t have a drink menu never looked in our direction for the rest of the night. She continued to deal with tables around us, but ignored us, and continued to talk with the other servers working & spent 10 minutes standing at a table talking to what we presumed to be friends. Not only was Andy serving the patio, she was also taking care of us and multiple other tables inside. She got our food order, drink orders etc. I went as far as to ask her if they split tips or keep them, and disappointingly she said they split them. We would have tipped Andy heavily if she was alone/getting the tip herself, but was modest in tipping because the 3 other servers would have got it as well. Andy is attentive, friendly, and a 10/10. She really cares about the service you receive!“

What I love is they automatically bring you blue cheese with carrots & celery when you order wings, unlike many places nowadays... Fave Wings: plain with salt & pepper! Fave Pizza: The C-B-R pizza - pizza sauce, mozzarella, chicken, bacon, ranch, tomatoes & mushrooms. The staff is friendly, and it's usually a fun, local atmosphere. Bands often come in on the weekends, and you can be sure that "the big game" will be on their big screen TV.“

Located in the Doubletree Fallsview Hotel. a great place for quick breakfast with bagels, banana bread, muffins etc. Everything was fresh and the service was great. Now if they would only change it to Dunkin Donuts coffee :) it would be perfect !“

Our stay was made a ls comfortable as could be, I would highly recommend this hotel. It is situated within good walking distance from all local attractions. “Tonight I experience a most unexpected explosion of flavour in my mouth, when I tried the Bhet Puri. I followed with a lamb dish that was equally exquisite. I would’ve not expected the level of cuisine judging from the outside, but this is a most definite must try for anyone living or visiting Niagara. I will most definitely return. The prices are also very affordable. I had an appetizer, rice, lamb and a mango lassi for just a little over $30.“

“if you go through my reviews, you'll see that reviewing restaurants is kind of my thing. I love to cook great food so I don't go to restaurants as much as most others do, but when I do go, I have expectations. Also, I have no desire to blow smoke up anyone's butt because I don't want to waste your time or my reputation. food means too much to me to lie to you so it is with pleasure that I write this review about Some Place Else!

let's start with proper expectations. Traditionally speaking, this is NOT a restaurant, it is more of a Tavern/bar that serves food so if you are looking for a fancy place to impress a first date, this is not the place, this might be where you go after the date if you like to sing karaoke but this, for lack of a better word is a blue collar joint!

On to the food. The food served here is simple, every day type food. burgers, fish and chips, wings and the odd sandwich. what makes this place special, is the Owner! I wish I got her name but she came to our table personally and made sure we understand what we ordered, made some suggestions if we wanted to save some money and explained options that were not exactly on the menu. for example, I ordered the philly cheese steak wrap, but she explained that I could also get it on a sub sandwich bun instead of the wrap and offered to cut up some green peppers if I wanted to put in the sandwich. The sandwich was very, very good and I'm so happy she offered the bun instead of the wrap. Also, the french fries are hand cut and tasted like real potatoes.. I didn't try the gravy but I wish I did because this was home made fresh stuff.
my wife got a burger, I tasted it and it wasn't some pre frozen burger patty, it was a home made, real beef burger and tasted nice. I got a look at the wings too and they were nice and big which is nice. The food came quickly and hot and with a smile. the prices were reasonable and the portions sizes were good.
what meant the most to me, is that you could tell that the owner cared about your experience and wanted to make sure you were happy and that, is a recipe for a good meal.
