The sourdough bread was also so incredibly fresh and delicious. This was a fantastic opportunity to try unique dishes at an affordable price while supporting our local students. “Had a great experience at Jo Blo's in St. Catharines! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service really stood out. Our server, Lauren, was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. She was knowledgeable about the menu and checked in regularly without being intrusive. “We had breakfast at this restaurant the 2 days we stayed at Niagara. Both the western style ( eggs, bacon and toast ) as well as the Indian one ( a traditional Indian style wrap of potatoes with chutney and yogurt ) were absolutely delicious.

Moreover the atmosphere that the owner/ cook has makes you feel like she's preparing it for a family member so 5 starts aren't enough to show our gratitude for a.n excellent service.

“Went here with a Senior Citizen trip of about 46 people in June. Wondering what to expect being a restaurant attached to a motel and a bowling alley! We got there a little early but did call ahead. The mgr lept to the challenge and got things ready for us. The Wait staff was EXCELLENT. It was a buffet with simple entrees, salad, rolls. Serve your own coffee, tea. We did not hear the bowling alley. The rest. is well decorated, clean, nice furniture. The meat loaf could have been more well done. Dessert was a huge board of assorted greats! Don't pass this place by.“

“We were a group of girls celebrating a bachelorette. Upon sitting, received complimentary bubbly. It tasted amazing. Our server Danny was wonderful and explained each dish before we ordered. We had the Hen, fish, lamb and mushroom for entrees. All were amazing. Highly recommend to get the lamb. Our apps were asparagus and broccoli. The broccoli was our fav. We also tried the brioche- highly recommend! We ended with the chocolate mousse and some espresso for the table. Overall a wonderful experience and beautiful patio. Will be back again! “We go to Niagra every March for an EMS Hockey Tournament. These past 2 years we have found ourselves at Taps and it was great both years. Jill is awesome and looked after us both years. “We visited Turtle Jacks while on vacation. The food was excellent, but two servers that were in the place were not nice and did not want to serve us. Until Jen who was amazing. We sat there for 30 minutes and the two servers kept walking pass us like we didn't exist. At that point my husband and I were getting ready to walk out until Jen came over, she apologized for the delay and service. She gave us the BEST service ever. She went above and beyond ! “Visited Root & Bone while in Fonthill. The atmosphere is upscale yet cozy, with an open-concept kitchen that adds to the overall experience.
My first visit here was when they were recognized on the OpenTable Top 100, and it’s easy to see why. Chef Raymond Taylor focuses on a farm-to-table approach, and it shows in both the quality of the ingredients and the beautiful presentation of each dish.
The food has consistently been well executed, and the service has always been good, making for a reliable dining experience.

“We stopped in for dinner while visiting St. Catherines, Ont. Food was good and I thought timely. The part that stood out was the Waiter, he was funny and visited to ask if we needed anything, just attentive enough that my husband and I could enjoy our conversation and time together. Drew is an excellent waiter and would certainly ask to sit in his section if we visit again in the future. Good job.“
