We had a reservation for a large party of 13 at 5:15 PM and arrived around 5:30. As soon as the first few members of our group walked in, the hostess spoke to them in an extremely rude tone, telling us we had to be out by 6:45—no greeting, no explanation, just very blunt and unwelcoming. We were initially sat at two tables, then when the rest of our party arrived, they were told something completely different—that we had until 7:15. Again, the tone was unnecessarily rude. Later on, a different hostess came over and told us we shouldn’t be taking up two tables and moved us to one, even though they were the ones who had seated us that way. It was confusing, inconsistent, and poorly handled. To be clear—the issue was not the time limit. We completely understand needing the table for another reservation. The problem was how it was communicated. The hostess was disrespectful and set a negative tone for the evening. The food did arrive and it was very good, and our waitress Brittani was kind, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, the poor treatment from the hostess staff left such a bad impression that we won’t be returning.
Really Dusty if u look up . Food was meh basic.
It’s kinda gross & I wouldn’t go back.
They put us in a corner by a freezing door that kept opening. The water in the restroom is so cold it’s actually hard to rinse the soap off. Go down the street to the end everything is better
Awesome Mother's day Brunch.
Our server and hostess were rude and had an attitude. The food looked impressive but the taste left a lot to be desired and one of our party felt sick for the remainder of the day after their food. We also didn't realise there was a 20% gratuity for a party of 4. Seems excessive. Won't be returning.
We went for the Easter brunch for our second year in a row and it was awesome. Thank you for the great food and great drinks. All your hard work pays off. Happy Easter to everyone at the brickyard
Went Friday evening based on a reco from a friend who loves it here. The food is mainly BBQ, ribs, pulled pork, brisket, etc…. The food was very good and reasonably priced, we paid about $130US for 3 ppl and we left with a ton of extra food! Portions were huge. Brisket was awesome, ribs were amazing, chicken wings were large but ok, I am not a huge fan of smoked wings. Chicken and pulled pork was also very good. Loved the cornbread, coleslaw and beans.Service was good at first then our server sat at a table and talked to a coworker for 20 mins while our beer was empty, eventually came over after we were almost done eating and we ordered another round. They also added a 20% tip on our bill for 3 ppl, we tip well so this wasn’t a concern just never seen that on a small table before, seemed odd.All in all the food was great and prices were also so we will be back!
Good sandwich’s
The good- cool place wirh great atmosphere and great service. The bad- we came at 1200 noon and clearly they were pawning off yesterdays leftover brisket and rock hard stale cornbread. Waitress gave us fresh cornbread no issues but we didnt appreciate the fact they tried to pass it off. Rest of the food was average. BBC craft beer and creamsicle cider was excellent.
Great BBQ. Portions are huge so you could easily share. Service is fast and friendly. Everything is homemade and really delicious. They also have a nice kids menu.
Waited an hour for food that never came. Trash.

Amazing amazing amazing
The wings were phenomenal and the bartender nailed the Moscow mule!
Super clean, great food, and well, then there's the beer.
It was a beautiful cooler summer evening. Hubby and I wanted a drink with some good family food. This place did not disappoint at all! We sat outside under an umbrella, food was good, service was good, bathrooms were clean and restaurant was clean. My kids are older (15 and 12), they ordered a burger and a grilled cheese and a fountain drink. Hubby and I got burgers and they were super! We also got the chili and pork nachos appetizer…..wow! Delicious ?. Make sure to check this place out. Lewiston is a quiet small town on the Niagara River.
Three visiting NYC friends took me to lunch, and I had driven by this place hundreds of times in the past 19 years and had heard some good things about it but I should’ve stopped in sooner.I know this is just a review but sometimes people really need to know that it’s worth the extra couple minutes to go to a place that’s got really outstanding food.We had been at a workshop that had chicken Friday and Saturday so we were looking for some red meat and we found it. I’ve eaten brisket in different ways all over western New York but I have finally found one that is made perfectly just the way I want it. Now, I’m not a salad chick but somehow my eyes went on the menu straight to the brisket salad so at the end that’s what I one friend and I ordered. It comes with sweet potatoes fries so I asked for substitution which they had no problem with.It was surprising that I found the french fries under the salad but I can say that they were good crispy fries! The house dressing was a French Cajun but I asked for Ranch, ending up barely using it. That meat didn’t need any sauce - and there was plenty of it —- and they added pecans to it!The Brisket was perfect. There were no pieces that I needed to pick a part because they were just fat. It was real meat, and there were no over cooked pieces in it that were crispy which I’ve had most places that I’ve gone out to eat Brisket at have had.One of my friends got the sandwich I’ll put in the picture the meat was moist and tender, perfectly cooked and by far more than he could eat so he ended up taking it to the airport with him.So if you’re looking for something that represents western New York very well in regards to a restaurant and have had more than your share of chicken in your life, it REALLY is worth the drive out to Lewiston to be able to get some thing is incredibly good as this.Lastly: When we walked in, we were told there would be about a 10 minute wait and that yes we could wait inside in the bar area which was really loud but we did and within four minutes the buzzer went off and I turned around and she was taking us to our seats so even when they’re packed the OUTSIDE seating is available with almost no wait. That means a lot to me because I’m usually dealing with people from out of the area and so I will be going back to the Brickyard again and again and I’ll let you know if they stay is incredible as they did for this visit.Don’t miss out on the cornbread with that honey butter….. can you see the real corn kernels in my piece?
The restaurant was awesome! The setup/decor was what grabbed my attention. (The town of Lewiston is a great touristy place). The food was great and so was the service. I ordered the pretzel and beer cheese appetizer and it was delicious. My husband and I shared a pick three meal (brisket, Memphis ribs and chicken) with beans and macaroni and cheese. My husband’s favorite was the brisket, I loved the ribs. If we ever get to go again, I would not order the macaroni and cheese again (not the greatest) but we enjoyed everything else! Our waitress was very attentive and nice.
