I would rate the food but we never had any. I made reservations but I didn't have to, since on a Friday night, there were very few customers. We were sat at a hightop table by a window. Typically that's great. But, it was so cold. The wait staff told us "the heat isn't working but it's all the way up". I asked her how difficult it was to work when it's that cold and she said it was difficult but that she made sure she dressed warm in "lots of layers". Hmm.. interesting. So she knew the heat was broken before she came to work? We decided to leave. Other customers were eating with their coats on. We didn't want to. On my way out, a bit of Karen in me leaked out. As politely as I could, I told the bartender we were leaving because it was "freezing in there", pointing with my thumb behind me. She said "yeah, so? It's cold outside today". I bit my tongue and we left. Yes, the weather was cold out.... but we wanted to eat inside not out! Never again. That bartender took an unpleasant situation and made it so much worse. Very bad reaction to upset customers.

Best burgers in Niagara Country! The Elvis was delicious, along with the corn fritter appetizer. We had a quiet early dinner, but I could see it getting busier when we left around 6:30. We will be back soon!

I've been 1 time personally and take out 4-5 times. Those times the food/service/atmosphere has been way better than most spots I eat. If u want a good burger and some fries come here. I read a lot of reviews and all the 1 stars seems like they are entitled people and don't understand how restaurants work. Maybe be nice to the servers and they will be nice to you.....always a reason.

We have been to cask and cow several times now as the food is definitely enjoyable! However, this last time was simply unbelievable. We walked in, noone was at the desk to seat us. Once the young lady came We asked to sit outside. We sat dow, the table was wobbly and folded napkin bunched up under the one leg to even it out and there was a screwdriver wedged on the umbrella holder to keep it straight. Now comes the fun. Thete were only 5 active tables combined between inside and outside the resturant. We sat at out table 20mins, with out being acknowledged by the young lady serving the table behind us, which was announced it was her family. No mention, we will We right with you, no water, nothing. In between waiting, the server was getting her families order in, drinks etc. Still nothing. So we decided to get up and ask yo be seated inside. It's now a half hour of us trying to get a drink or dinner. Mind you we are not from Lewiston. We purposely chose cask and cow as previously said we liked it there. So we are seated inside and we advised why we were coming on. No apologies no nothing So our new server came took our drink order and food, we asked for water as well in meantime. So while we sat waiting for out order..the staff were all covered over by the bathrooms socializing....so after finally being served, we got our drink and food, and water was brought at the same time. Ridiculous service, not an apology, no manager on sight. And reminder, this place was not busy at all. Do better.

Food was decent. Fries and pub pretzel were great. KC ribeye had a lot of grizzle. Burgers were high fat content. Good atmosphere and service - a bit loud for a restaurant. Hostess got us seated quickly. Meat was too fatty for our liking but some may like it.

Great and beautiful place to eat outside of the Niagara Falls area. Friendly place delicious food in a safe and beautiful small town. If you are ever in the area and are gluten-free, this is the place to eat.❤️

New favorite resturant for sure!!!! Came in for dinner everything was clean and tidy which is the first thing I judge we were greeted and sat quickly and with a smile? me and my mom ordered a few things to share since it was her first time eating from here the stuffed pepper dip ?, mandarin and goat cheese salad was so good I probabaly didn’t need dressing at all but the best part was the peaches and Brie burger my mouth is watering again thinking about it! Thank you to Giana for making sure it was a great experience! No matter how busy she was working alone she always made sure to check on us and always kept such a positive attitude and smile we will surely be back for a fish fry soon
Kid-friendliness: Not quite the place I would bring an overly hyper kid on a busy night but they are kid friendly and the kid portions are huge!
We sat at the bar and enjoyed excellent service. The cauliflower carrot bisque was very good and salad was fresh. My husband says the beef on weck is the best he's ever eaten. They have a good selection on tap.
