Others may like it, but it was too loud for my taste. It was a sports bar atmosphere while I was waiting for the food.
I didn't get into the building. There was a patio and covered bar outside. The area was crowded, so I stopped at the 1st open seat.

Unfortunately this was our first and will be our last visit to Stone House. While trying to enjoy a drink on the covered outdoor patio, my friend and I overheard an older man, presumed to be either upper management or maybe the owner, telling another customer that “one of the few rules here is men must use the men’s restroom and ladies use the designated ladies room” and that “people shouldn’t think they can use them interchangeably”. It is understandable that facilities may have distinct restrooms, however for guests that identify as non-binary or of a different sex than they may appear, this is an extremely upsetting standard. It’s 2024, why are we still being setting strict gender norms with public rest rooms? Disappointing and honestly not a welcoming environment. Definitely not queer friendly. Where’s the “buffalove” ??

Good bar food. I had hamburger. Thick patty and juicy not bloody. Somewhat limited menu. Very busy on Friday night. Good music. I love historical buildings but we ate outside that night.

Staff was friendly. Nice patio. The food was disappointing. Everything was dry and the ribs we could not even eat. We purchased the platter and the only thing half decent was the pulled pork.
