I love a unique coffee shop. And this coffee shop in the heart of Lima offers a very home-like atmosphere complete with friendly staff. The menu includes coffee, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, baked goods (can we say cinnamon rolls & cookies- YUM) fresh sandwiches and salads. The coffee was well made and with the inviting atmosphere I will def be back for more!

In my opinion, as for me, I expected the food to be better than it was, not what I'm used to finding in this type of café.
The place is ok, the atmosphere is ok as well I really had no issues with that, the food however, seemed to be like a frozen breakfast sandwich bought from a gas station, it wasn't what I was expecting, I ordered a bec on a roll, I'm used to the usual rolls found on delis across NYS, however it was much smaller.
Bacon? Almost non-existent, no choice of cheese, however to each their own.
I'm just giving my take on my experience, I'm being frank and direct, if you like the place and food, great! If you don't (like me) good as well, again, to each their own.

I have always absolutely loved this cafe. I previously have been a regular however I’m not in Lima very much anymore so my frequency has changed. I just wanted to share my experience from a couple of days ago.
On Friday June 13th, I stopped in on my lunch break to get coffee and pastries for my coworker and I. Upon ordering, although I recall ordering iced coffee, I evidently did not specify, and the barista didn’t ask me. The barista taking my order also looked quite unhappy. They were not busy, upon arrival there were two people other than us and after I ordered, the prior two left and there was a group of four who had just come in and ordered. They were not busy. I was handed two hot coffees, so I politely mentioned that I meant to order iced. The baristas started remaking them, and I thanked them. However, in the process, the two of them started making comments about me and talking about the experience in an inappropriate manner. The back and forth comments consisted of, “Did you ask if it was meant to be hot or iced?”, “No, but I shouldn’t have to”, “They should’ve specified”, “If you don’t order right, you don’t deserve your order right”, “This is such a waste of time”, word for word. This continued for a few minutes and was their only topic of conversation until I was handed the two coffees. Upon leaving, I reminded them that their words can be heard by customers.
I worked in service for three years and although sometimes I’d get upset by customers when I was treated poorly, I would have never deliberately made a customer who was kind and polite feel the way they made me feel this day.
I was incredibly disappointed and upset to be talked down by two baristas at a cafe I normally love. I do not at all foresee myself returning.

Super clean, AWESOME service. Great atmosphere.
I traditionally absolutely love this cafe shop! Love the coffee and food, never had a bad drink or sandwich/toast. However, today was not great service and I typically don’t like to complain. I got a vanilla lavender matcha latte today. The barista started off strong with asking how I like my matcha. I was pleasantly surprised since I’ve never had a barista ever asks preferences! I told her I like my matcha super strong and rich. She brought it to me, which I appreciated, but when it arrived I noticed there was watered down, light green matcha on top of the milk. I stirred it up and thought maybe it just needed to be mixed, but the end result was basically milk with a splash of matcha. And it tasted like only milk and no flavor of matcha or vanilla lavender. I didn’t return to the barista as it was busy and there were a couple customers after I had ordered and needed to return to work. I’m leaving this review in hopes this brings feedback to improve since I think so highly of this small town coffee shop.

Love the friendly, welcoming staff and the fresh, delicious options! They are able (and happy) to accommodate a variety of dietary needs. Plus, they are responsive on social media for any questions. Can't wait to visit again!
Love how welcoming and accommodating this cafe is! Despite being a small business, they have a variety of options for people with different dietary needs - gluten free, dairy free, vegan and more. Everything is made fresh and tastes delicious. Plus, they
