We gave this place a try tonight and it was FANTASTIC! The mac n cheez, turmeric slaw, pit beans and pulled pork were delicious. The mixed drinks are unique and tasty. Give this place a try!! We’re going back for sure.

Smoked wings are out of this world. Large juice drums and flats with a generous, but not overpowering, smoke. Deep fried for a few minutes to yield to perfect crispy skin. The Alabama White Sauce is a perfect topping. The Ligonberry BBQ sauce is also fantastic and unique to the Normal. Of course they also have traditional Buffalo sauce and BLUE CHEESE dressing for dipping ( No love for Ranch here.) The atmosphere is post modern atomic and a refreshing change from medium gray hard booths of the chain restaurants. The service is very quick and the prices are fair. Come for thr meat and stay for a craft cocktail.

Great date spot! Fantastic cocktails and mocktails, and the bbq’s incredible. I love the combo with pulled pork, turmeric slaw, and beef tallow fries. The BBQ nachos are amazing. Great bartenders!

The service was so great and the atmosphere is really good, but it was pricier than we can justify for a BBQ trip. Very glad we tried them and I hope they do well, just a bit rich for our budget! (Meat is ~$34/lb. $17 brisket sandwich. $9 large/$7 small for fries and mac & cheese). The mac & cheese is a watery type, not our preference. The fries are potato wedge style, well seasoned.

My 10 year old put a list together for our family tonight and we drove there together to place the order because the phone line was not working and the online ordering was down. When we walked in the guy in the kitchen said, its gonna be a while, and he had shut the phones down and online ordering down. He said he would rather take care of the people drinking at his bar. He told us we should go to Pat's Pigs around the corner if we wanted food and pretty much told us to get lost. So much for trying to keep it local.

My dad and I tried to order online but it was not working. We tried to call to order but went to a google voicemail, so we figured we would just go order there and wait. When we walked in, the guy at the counter said he shut down the phone line and the online ordering because he said he was too busy. He said we can wait for a while if we want, but he would tater take care of the people drinking at his bar. He didn’t offer for us to sit down and told us he didn’t want to take are order so we left and he said he’d rather take care of the people inside drinking instead of us, then muffled some nasty words under his breath as we walked out. Certainly not going to give this a try ever again. Love to support local small business but we will never support this one again.

The food was outstanding!!! The wings were some of the best I’ve ever had. The Cole slaw and cucumber dills were a perfect refreshing bite. We also got the nachos… holy YUM!!! The beef tallow steak fries were crisp and seasoned well!! All around an amazing meal!
Ashley was our server and she was so sweet and so nice to chat with! Adam, the chef and owner, was also very kind! I would recommend this place time and time again! We will 100% be back.

After reading all of the reviews we may have gone on a bad day but our experience was so disappointing. The food was cold, our drink was good, but we couldn’t get a second because supplies were too low and it felt as though it was an imposition. Excited to try something new but I don’t think I would give it a second go due to the service, quality of the food and how long it took to revive our order. Staff was not welcoming and we didn’t get what was described on the menu. I hope it was just a bad night for them and that it improves. Like to see something different succeed.
