In our experience, JRA is not qualified to create a semi-custom kitchen.
We hired JRA Kitchen & Design to design and order cabinets for our dream kitchen in June 2025. JRA attempted to create a semi-custom kitchen for us with Bishop Cabinets.
We paid in full and were excited to support local Katonah business. Unfortunately, it has been an extremely disappointing experience.
Several cabinets in the original order were measured incorrectly. After three separate times working with JRA to try and fix the issues, many of our cabinets were still incorrectly built, damaged, or mismeasured.
JRA was never able to provide the finished product “as specified” in our contract which cost us extra money with our contractor due to the extended delays that occurred. We were left for 2 months beyond the initial cabinet delivery date without a functional kitchen with small children and eventually had to hire another cabinet maker to correct the mistakes out of pocket.
We cannot recommend working with JRA following our experience.

What can I say, Ally truly made all of my kitchen dreams come to life!! She is so kind, patient, HONEST and really pays attention to details! She has mastered her craft. Very attentive and was there when ever I needed any questions answered! I wish I could give her 10 stars.

I have worked on about a dozen kitchen re-designs (professionally and personally) over the years, and this was by far the most pleasant experience I've ever had. Ally has a keen eye for design, a creative problem solving mindset, and perhaps most importantly - she cares about her customers. At the height of covid, when just about everything was delayed beyond belief, JRA delivered our cabinets on time and just as we ordered. We couldn't be happier with their quality, aesthetic and functionality (so many good ideas from Ally on this front!). We're actually gearing up for another kitchen re-design now and Ally is the first person we reached out to. Can't wait to do it again!
