Although the service was okay, the food was not good. The Calimari was undercooked and rubbery, my Lobster tails were tough and not what I expected. Even my son had Lobster Bisque soup that was thick and right out of a can. I remember coming here many years earlier and it was a decent restaurant, but it definitely has turned.

Food was quite good - home made dressing, soups etc. My boyfriend had the fisherman's platter and it was a bit skimpy for the price.Unfortunately we arrived near closing (the time in Google said say close at 11pm which was incorrect) and were a bit rushed. We will go back to give them another try when we have more time.

On this visit I had the best 2 lb steamed lobster ever! It was so sweet and juicy. The side that I chose was sweet potato fries that were perfectly prepared and not greasy. The meal always comes with a gorgeous round hot bread that you slice yourself at the table. A little extra virgin olive oil and what could be better? The meal also comes with a lovely tossed salad and delicious garlicy dressing.

Lost my appetite after the way the steamers smelt. Unsweetened Ice Tea was like drinking colored water. Service was horrible. And that's putting it nicely. I would not recommend this restaurant and I will definitely not be going back.

Where are all the Friday Date Night Dinner Goers??? This is the place to be at!!! Took my Dad for his Birthday on a Friday night and we both had whole 2lb lobsters cooked to perfection and cut for ease of eating. A hot sesame bread loaf and salad with dressing choices were delicious and included with the meal. Felt like we were served like family and the atmosphere was clean and cozy. Desserts were homemade and can bring home! Let's bring this family-run and long time running restaurant shine on the map! Would take the ride from my north shore home out to Alletto's anytime!

I love seafood and I really want to like this place, I really do, but every time I come here it's a problem. First of all, no matter whether it's empty or packed it takes forever for the food to come out. When it finally does, there is always a problem. I have given this place multiple chances, because a friend of mine swears by it, but every time there was a problem! Once my food was cold. Another time, the food I waited 40 minutes for wasn't prepared how i ordered it. Yet another time, the lobster just wasn't right! The inside was full of giant black chunks. I know sometimes there are red chunks, but big black ones that kind of had an odor, no.. I'm NOT eating that. As for their prices, they were kind of steep, but you do get a lot so that's not so terrible. Honestly, I've tried Alletto's again and again. I like the atmosphere, I like the staff, but if I'm gonna be sitting there for over an hour every time I go there and they can't even get the drinks right, why bother?

Was very sad revisit to an old favorite after many years. Service was awful. Literally took pitcher from a server just to get water for table. Had to track down people to get drinks for table, which were terrible. My "2 lb" lobster rendered maybe 4 oz of meat! Fresh bread & garlic mozzarella bread fantastic, but don't recommend this place anymore. They seemed overwhelmed during early 6-7 pm dinnertime.

Worst dining experience I have ever had. $468.00 down the drain, my fathers birthday ruined. Please avoid this restaurant. 3 full meals left on the table untouched, we are so disappointed. Avoid and go somewhere else and save your money.
