Such a fun unique vibe. Upon making a reservation I mentioned it was for a birthday celebration and we were seated at a very nice table which was greatly appreciated. Service was great. Too many delicious drinks to choose from. We tried a few and loved them all. There are lots of small plate dishes to share. We were there close to Halloween and the decorations were awesome. Follow their social media they have many different event nights. Definitely will be back.

My experience at Hunter and Thief left me speechless so I will let it speak for itself.
I sat at the bar next to whom I later found out is the owner. He hands me some menus and I order a drink. After the bartender hands me my drink he informs me that the kitchen is closed. The owner then turns to me and asks me “what would you like?” I tell him I just wanted a burger but that is was nothing to worry about. He then asked me how I would like it cooked and proceeded to take his button down shirt off and into the kitchen to make me my burger…the best burger I’ve ever had actually. I almost cried. When I first walked in he asked me how I was and I said I was tired and that it had been a long two weeks. He made me feel so at home, so seen, so heard, so welcomed. I’ve never been anywhere else that has made me feel this way.

Have gone multiple times. Chill and classy atmosphere. Good drink selection and tasty, interesting food. The owner is so nice. She spoke with us several times and even customized the food to accommodate GF preference. Definitely muxh more than your standard bar. Servers have been helpful and attentive.

Run!!!!! This place is amazing! They’re currently celebrating their first anniversary and I hope they’re around for many more. Atmosphere was a little surprising when we first walked in but it totally worked. The place has a very cool vibe without trying too hard. Staff was very friendly. Music was great. The drink menu was very impressive. Tons of Old fashioned options. The food was on another level. We had the corn bread and zucchini flower appetizers which were absolutely incredible. The Fried chicken sandwich was out of this world. So crispy yet light and not too heavy or greasy. The fish and chips were literally melt in your mouth. Definitely will be back!!!

I really loved my experience here. The food was nicely balanced, fresh and unique to the menu. I got the courgette and truly felt joy in my soul when eating it. The centerpieces were fresh and beautiful. The drink was crafted with care and had a fresh and beautiful garnish - I'm not sure what it was because I asked them to surprise me. Service was laid back and friendly. The atmosphere felt like a candle lit night in a second home.

A great spot for dinner with friends. Everything was great from the atmosphere, to the service, to the drinks and food. I thought the prices were very reasonable and love that the dishes are geared towards sharing. I loved everything we tried and definitely would recommend the sardine toast. We will be back for sure!
