At approximately 5:57 PM, I arrived at the store to order two sandwiches. Prior to arriving, I had called the store to confirm service and spoke with the general manager, John, who was very rude on the phone and stated he would not make sandwiches and that I would have to “wait for someone.” I said okay and proceeded to the store, arriving before the 6:00 PM closing time.

When I entered, John was standing there waiting and became visibly upset that I arrived before closing. He threw his phone, then went to the restroom. While I began ordering with another employee, John came out and abruptly said, “The grill is off!” I tried to calmly explain that I had called in advance, but he immediately accused me of yelling and being rude, which was untrue. He then stated, “I’m not serving you. Have a good night,” and instructed the employees to stop service and begin packing up.

I was extremely upset and did not leave immediately due to how shocking and unfair the situation was. John then picked up the phone and called the police, despite there being no disturbance, threat, or inappropriate behavior on my part. This was completely unnecessary and escalated the situation in an unacceptable way.

Because all Jersey Mike’s locations in the area closed at 6:00 PM on Christmas Eve, I was left without food and deeply distressed by how I was treated. This was my first time visiting this location, and I have never experienced anything like this at any other Jersey Mike’s.

John’s behavior was rude, aggressive, unprofessional, and inappropriate for a general manager. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed seriously, and I would appreciate follow-up regarding what actions will be taken to address this matter.

I came in around 2-3pm the food wasn’t bad it was just the service the staff was a bit iffy that day came to just speak to the manager about the receipt and “Jonathan” came in all rude and aggressive seems like he was either drunk or on some type of substance pretty strange to say the least

The bacon is burned to a crisp and rancid. Someone had mixed onions in with the lettuce, Who puts onions on a BLT. I upchucked profusely after the first bite!! This was a DoorDash order shame on you all for sending me this.

What a fantastic first experience. The staff and owner were amazingly kind and generous. They walked me through how it worked. I have been a loyal Subway customer until today. It really was a better sandwich. The bread was supior by far. Yes I will be back. Happy I tried something new. Thanks again to Jonathan and staff.

Wow. Just wow. I can honestly say Jersey Mike’s is one of the most consistent chains out there. Every location is clean and well kept. The employees seem so happy to be a part of the process and work there. Managers always involved and friendly. That being said, our experience at this location was just phenomenal. The manager was great with my daughter, so friendly, the employee was friendly and helpful. Made sure I got my points properly for my purchase when there might have been an issue with my points registering. We will for SURE be back. Jersey Mike’s is a family favorite and a pleasure every visit. Keep up the great work!!

Hands down the BEST experience I’ve ever had at any Jersey Mike’s — and I’ve been to quite a few! Jonathan, the general manager, went above and beyond with his service. He was friendly, professional, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. You can tell he truly cares about the customers and takes pride in the quality of the food and the overall experience. The store was spotless, the team was efficient, and my sub was made exactly how I like it. Jonathan made me feel welcome and appreciated — something you don’t get everywhere these days. 10/10 would recommend and I’ll definitely be coming back!

I came and asked hi have an online order, it’s like I am bothering her and no hi no nothing with her attitude it’s not ready, why are you so rude ? You know the sandwich it’s extremely overpriced right ? I don’t need your stupid attitude and without customers like us, you will have no paycheck , this isn’t mc d pricing I am paying here

I was at this location today and I was genuinely disturbed by how the manager with the arm tattoos and mustache (I believe his name is Jonathan) treated the employees. He was yelling at them in front of customers and creating an extremely hostile work environment.

At one point, a young female employee stepped to the back to drink some water - it looked like there was no AC and she seemed overheated. The manager yelled at her for that. Later, she was fanning herself at the front of the store and he came up, ripped the item from her hands, and scolded her harshly for doing it “in front of customers.” She looked shaken and eventually started crying.

It was really upsetting to witness. No one deserves to be treated like that. I hope corporate looks into how the staff is being treated here. As a customer, I won’t be coming back unless something changes.
