Came in on a tuesday night. Had a friend in town for a few nights so we got together for dinner and drinks . Riptides did not disappoint in any aspects . We were welcomed and felt a cool vibe immediately. Drinks were on point and food was better then expected. Keep up the good work and we'll see you real soon again

Really sad, I went there at 9:40 at night on Dec 20th. I had just walked in after driving an hour out of my way to be there (I live in Eastport) I was a little discombobulated carrying my mic stand, my bag full of gear and and music stand when I finally put my stuff down and leaned over to the bartender to ask her questions about an event going on my friend was throwing I got met with a women pushing me out of her way telling me to get out of her seat. ( now don't get me wrong, I had one foot on the ground and I was leaning over her seat but I honestly didn't event notice. Just saw an open space to talk to the bartender. What got me is the bartender did nothing about it. Not only did she not tell the women to not put her hands on me but then as I was leaving I checked her back with my shoulder, with the same force she pushed me (I will admit I had one foot firmly planted and she didn't so she def fell off her balance a little more then me but no one was injured just pushed her the way she did to). However now the bartender says something to me (so it's ok for her to put her hands on me but I can't defend myself?) At this point I walk to wear my music stuff was to grab it and leave the bartender follows me down trying to reprimand me more....Thanks to the bartender following me and being loud everyone started looking at me and asking me what happened and if I'm leaving. I said yes I was leaving cause I just got pushed from the lady at the bar (so now I'm leaving and people are asking me to stay and sing). The bartender doesn't tell me to stay and assure me that she won't let the women get physical with me, she doesn't try to defuse the situation but follows me outside to tell me I was wrong for putting my hands on her "she understands she put her hands on me first but it was immature of me to react that way"...... still once I never see her say anything to the other women for putting her hands on me in the first place but took the time to follow and push me out when people wanted to me to stay and sing and went as far as to shame me for defending myself instead of taking responsibility for letting it happen in the first place. If the Bartender would have said something I would have felt like the women knew she could not do that but by not saying anything your condoning at atmosphere where someone thinks it's ok to get physical like that so I took it upon myself to let her know if she gets physical again I'll do it back at her. Let her know don't dish out what you can't take. I hear the owner is very friendly. I truly hope you see this and talk to your bartender about going after the person defending themselves vrs the person who started the being physical and how if she had done the right thing in the first place and not let her push me it wouldn't have escalated to that point.

Great time. Went to see my high school school mate JJ perform, in what may be his last performance. The place used to bee sportpage. In my 20s it was the spot. It's still a nice place to go. Only think that sucks is looking for parking. So go a little early if you need to be there at a certain time cause it could be 10 minutes looking for a spot.Parking: Hard to find a parking spot but it could be different day to day. This time I went was a Saturday and it took me 7 minutes to find a close spot.

Went here to play trivia, and will definitely go back. Every plate of food we ordered or saw looked very good. Wings smelled awesome, the salad was large and fresh, French Onion soup was nicely prepared. I can't say how much better the food is compared to typical bar/restaurants. The staff was friendly, Katie the bartender and the waitresses too. Trivia had 5 teams playing, and they had a pool table too which was being played all evening. This is a family owned and run grill/bar and they put pride in it clearly. The only difficulty is the parking lot is full due to the kid's dance studio in the same strip mall, and the 7-11. So, you may have to park a block away.

Stopped in with a friend this past Wednesday to grab dinner and was pleasantly surprised! Beautifully decorated with a cheerful nautical theme, a friendly bartender served delicious, freshly made clam chowder loaded with tender clams, perfectly cooked Buffalo chicken wings and tasty baked clams. Good local beers on tap and a talented karaoke showman was getting everyone up to sing and dance - what a hidden gem! Can’t wait to go back and sing Christmas carols with the whole place and for the chowder, it was so good that I can’t stop thinking about it. Definitely check this place out.

The only good experience at this place was the server. The food was like eating dry hockey pucks, my husband had a hamburger which was definitely frozen box burger and I had the chicken pesto sandwich. The chicken was hard, overcooked and dry. I paid $6 extra for truffle fries that were undercooked and had no taste at all. Our friends had the pretzel which was loaded with salt and were asked do you need the dipoing sauces that come with it because if you don't eat it we don't give it. They also had a cheese quessadilla which was ckld and bland. Asked the same about the salsa and guac. The drinks were $14 each and watered dkwn and not made correctly. They had a seasonal drink menu and when asked for the fall sangria oh we haven't made any all week you can't have that. When I ordered the pumpkin espresso martini it was a watered down espresso martin with pumpkin spice all over the top tasted like sand. Awful experience don't waste your money. $200 check with bartender attitude and horrible food. The fact that you are arguing the point of how horrible our experience was instead of apologizing is review enough. I never said $14 was too much for a drink I said it was too much for the drink you privided and it was NOT made the way it was described on your menu. Also people in our group did go to the bar. Thank you for your reply I hope in the future you will think of customer satisfaction.

I want to start with our server who was great and very polite. That was the extent of the good. They had an extensive drink menu with new drinks for fall that we were excited to try. Right off the bat we weere told we don't have the sangria we ran out yesterday, and no one has made more. I ordered the pumpkin espresso martini which said it was made with pumpkin puree and I believe cream. It was a tiny espresso martini, watery, with a bunch of pumpkin spice thrown on top which made it gritty. Oh and it was $14! The food was also awful. Husband got a hamburger and it was like a hockey puck and I got the pesto chicken sandwich which was dry and over cooked. I added truffle fries, $6 upcharge, and the fries were mushy and tasted nothing like truffle fries. Our friend ordered the pretzel which was loaded with salt and his wife got the quessadilla which was cold. Everything kn the menu was overpriced, the other people working there, bartenders and I am guessing servers were rude young women. The band were friends of ours which is why we went and at the end of the night the band was not paid in full. They had a bunch of people there eating this swill and paying way too much for poor bar food at best. Don't waste your time or money. Will never be back.

Was nice and relaxed for the most part. It was a seafood restaurant but nobody had any seafood. They only have a limited menu on Mondays.
