Sand City has the usual industrial setup where the tasting room is part of the brewery at the back. Since the whole place is open, the yeast and hops smell is strong. Loved the breakfast stout and their sour. There is a food truck outside with outdoor seating and they are dog friendly. Good place to chill out if you can stomach the smell. It kind of grew on me and I was okay with it. The staff was very helpful and gave good explanation of the beers and samples.

This was my first time checking out Sand City South in Lindenhurst. I took my husband here for his birthday since he's a big beer lover. Once I walked in I noticed how large and spacious it was inside. I also noticed the super strong yeast smell since they brew onsite. They have a very industrial and open floor plan. Including a view of all the brewing tanks. This place is super dog friendly and we saw tons of dogs with their owners on a Friday night. I'm not a big beer drinker but I do love a good sour. I tried their Pomegranate Sour and loved it. Bought some to take home too. The staff were accommodating, and the overall vibe was relaxed and inviting. If you're looking for a spot to enjoy great beer or even a gin cocktail with some pups, you'll definitely like Sand City South. Just be prepared for the strong scent of brewing beer.

Plenty of Breweries around...... Sand City is a step above, tons of space, amazing selections with matching quality of service. From what's on draft to a great selection of favorites by the can.... Have spent a number of warm evenings sitting outside in the perfect atmosphere to have a beer, two or three.... Hit and miss on food trucks but the local places deliver.

My husband loves this beer we have tried their other location in the north shore so we were excited for this bigger location. You can't complain about the beer or service 10/10, however I took off a star for the ambiance. I get that it was Saturday and it was very crowded and loud inside, however my husband and I could not believe the smell... it was not body odor it was old building...old wood smell and we couldn't stay inside for long. It overpowered the experience. Thank goodness it was a somewhat nice day and they had outdoor seating.

Great local brewery with a wide variety of original and classic style brews. I had the #18 Breakfast Stout with cold brew and coconut, it was both delicious and just the right amount of flavoring that made this the perfect afternoon beer while sitting by the outdoor fire pit. Will be back again soon!

I stopped in to use the restroom while in the area running errands on a Saturday evening. There was an awful odor as soon as I entered. Maybe this was an off day or the result of the dogs that were present inside that day. The bathroom was unclean and lacked essentials (No soap in the dispenser, etc.) The menu looked decent but I didn’t order anything so I can’t comment on that. I would suggest that they try to correct the overwhelming odor issue.

Had a great time here with friends. The place was spacious and there was a food truck outside. The selection of beer was vast and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Three thumbs up

Just as good as the OG location in Northport Village, with the same awesome beers on tap, but with a different vibe. While Northport's smallish tasting room is funky and intimate, the South location in Lindenhurst is much larger and well suited for bigger groups. My company had a team outing there and midday libations were divine.

I could say a lot about how great Sand City is, but that would take forever. So, here's my two favorite things about them.First, the Sours. They have 2 really great sour beers(Enough Already! and Monday Already?). If you feel adventurous, give them a try. I did and am glad.Second. They are pet friendly. It's wildly cool to go in and see people at their tables with their favorite four legged friends.Give them a try, give their beers a try. I think you'll enjoy.

I’ve been to the Lindenhurst location a few times and I was disappointed overall. The good - very spacious, live bands, people friendly. Also has large food truck outside. The bad - mostly hoppy beer selections, geared towards young, couldn’t find a malty beer. Even the red ale was hoppy. Small Craft Brewing company, in Amityville, a much smaller place, has a better selection of beers, in my opinion.Besides the lack of malty beers, the bar could use a good clean-up, a bad odor is near front entrance that can put off new customers.I would recommend also they clean their taps more often, two people in my party had stomach problems the next day.A busy place, that does quite well, that could do better!
