I am gluten and dairy free. I did not see any mentions on the menu for my special needs, so I just ordered eggs, bacon and hashbrowns, just to be safe. I was asked what kind of toast i wanted. Said I was gluten and dairy free, no thanks. The waitress said we have gluten-free bread and will make sure not to put milk in your eggs. A few minutes later she comes over and says we season the hash browns, it has garlic and onion and.... I am also allergic to garlic. Very quickly said...
Wonderful local diner, friendly staff, family diner. Good coffee, excellent omelettes, hash browns are perfect, and love that they have raisin toast as an option! So glad we stopped and discovered this diner on our way to Binghamton!
Small town dinner, nothing fancy, we had a taco salad that was very good. Open for breakfast and lunch, closes at 2pm. Mostly men, workers, a few older couples and some women having lunch. Our friend recommended French toast for breakfast was really good.
Parking: There was enough parking,, its near state highway., might have to park farther away if its really busy.
Kid-friendliness: I didn't see any children but they do have some books or crayons to keep...
