“Wonderful local diner, friendly staff, family diner. Good coffee, excellent omelettes, hash browns are perfect, and love that they have raisin toast as an option! So glad we stopped and discovered this diner on our way to Binghamton!”
“Wonderful experience! Our server was Incredibly Friendly & she was Super Helpful! She went above & beyond! She even took a photo for us:) She asked at the start of order if we wanted separate bills even…& at the end of lunch she remembered to bring the piece of Bday cake I had called ahead to request & they added a delightful extra touch of decorating the plate with “Happy Birthday”! Our waitress even sang Happy Birthday to my daughter with us:) I didn’t pay the bill so couldn’t see but sure hope the tip reflected such Amazing service!!! The entire staff was very friendly! & the food was Amazingly Delicious! Thanks Again Aiello’s!”
“Stopped by on a whim for a late lunch. Very impressed with the food. Had the special which was Guinness battered fish sandwich with coleslaw. All of it was really good including the perfectly crisp fries.”
“Never expected to find such good BBQ so far up north! There's no seating, so you're gonna have to eat somewhere else. I ended up getting a pulled pork sandwich and cornbread, which was great! The sandwich was really good and filled me up for sure. Very affordable too.”
“Stopped for a quick breakfast on our way back south to NC. My eggs were perfectly cooked, huge pancakes and extra crispy sausage patty as requested. Delicious hot fresh coffee too!Glad we spotted your sign up on Rt. 79!Will definitely stop again.”
“i love this ice cream so much! My brother’s college is not too far from here so whenever me and my dad drop him off we always stop here! I really want to try your pumpkin ice cream but i cant not order the vannilla and chocolate twist! please never change the recipe????”
“Small town bar with great food. Hands down probably the best bang for your buck in cortland County. If you haven't been you should check it out. Grab a burger they don't disappoint.”
“This is a basic little ice cream stop at the corner of 38 and 79. Just park your car in their gravel lot, walk up, and order from the window. It's only open during the summer months but it's worth the wait. Tasty ice cream, GENEROUS helpings, and a bajillion different flavor options. One time I didn't specify size so they gave me one of the biggest. It was giant. No, like truly huge. It literally took me *three* days to finish it...but it was super delicious.”
“Both the workers and the customers here are always such a good time. Very friendly and inviting. Unfortunately, we did not have time for food. This is also a very clean and inviting atmosphere.”
“I’ve been to a lot places of different cuisines and price ranges and when it comes to such restaurants it is something I appreciate the most.Cozy, friendly atmosphere great tasting food and generous price. You must try their home made pies, they are phenomenal!Parking: There’s plenty of space on the parking if you are a truck driver and looking to pick a good place to have food on your way. Also its close to the interstate!”
“Dominic's has been our go-to fast food and pizza place for over 2 years now. They have amazing specialty pizza and a variety of other items, so you can find something for everyone. They are the type of family owned restaurant that greets regulars by their first name when you walk in. Highly recommend!!!”
“If you don't like Arby's, it's because you haven't had the roast beef and cheese sandwich. In my opinion, the roast beef and cheese sandwich is the only good thing on the menu. It's so good. I would eat Arby's every day for the rest of my life if I never had to use the ”
“We had the wedding of our dreams this past July at The View. Literally the best day of our lives. Let me tell you what makes Sarah and her team so INCREDIBLE!From the moment we booked, Sarah was committed to making our vision come to life. We had numerous meetings with Sarah-- first she showed us some past weddings and everything she had available to us. Then I shared my inspiration/photos and we got to work collaborating. Sarah will help you make your ideas real. She even gave me access to her storage room, and gave me free access to all sorts of decorations (table toppers, baskets, signage), which saved me money and time. The biggest thing Sarah did for me is give me peace of mind. Being a bride is SO stressful. Every time I met with Sarah, I walked away feeling assured, supported and inspired. She was so accommodating, answering questions for months in advance leading up to the day, and setting up occasional meetings to look at the venue and plan decorations.Décor: Fast forward to the day before the wedding. I had family and friends helping to get all the table décor together. All we had to do was bring all of our supplies to the View, and show Sarah an example of what we wanted. When we got to the Venue on the big day, magic! She sets everything up for you. And they took care of tear down too so we could enjoy our party, all night long. Everything looked even better than I imagined.Their whole selling point is that they will make your day as stress free as possible. And let me tell you. THEY ARE NOT LYING! We didn't have to worry about a thing.Food: Ok and the food??? SLAMMIN. My one regret on my wedding day is that I only ate 1 bag of clams, lol. All our guests were so happy.Drinks: If you have a special beer/wine you want, Sarah and Patrick will do their best to find it for you, how cool is that? The buffet and bar line moved fast and no one complained about there not being any liquor (something I was worried about). The Bridal Barn: What a special touch! Me and my bridal party shared special private moments together as our guests arrived. Its air conditioned ;). Girls, Sarah makes you feel like a princess. At the conclusion of our ceremony, Sarah had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the Barn. I'll never forget all of us in the wedding party piling into the barn and drinking out of the bottle. The Ceremony: Our ceremony felt so personal and true to us. Per Sarah's suggestion, we hired Barb from House of Treasures to decorate the pergola (sooooo glad we did!!!) Sarah makes sure that guests have access to everything they may need for an outdoor ceremony (sunscreen, bug spray, water bottles). The Venue: GORGEOUS!!! We were blessed with fabulous weather. But even if it rained I was confident Sarah had our backs. Guests took photos along the railing with the sun setting in the valley. Well deserving of the name "The View."Reception: We went with Ryan DeLap, one of the DJs on the Sarah's list. Amazing. We danced alllllll night long!!! We had so many people come up to us and say it was the most fun they'd ever had at a wedding.I could go on and on and on. Long story short: Book your wedding here. The facilities are beautiful. Sarah is an angel. Wedding venue prices can be heinous. The price we paid for the experience we had... we were just floored. Just beautiful quality from beginning to end. Thank you Sarah and Patrick :) <3”
“If you ever happen to find yourself in the lobby of Aiello‘s being completely ignored by the hostess and one of the blowhard owners of the restaurant, do yourself a favor: walk back out the door, across the street and into Sparky’s. There you will be greeted by a very friendly person, escorted to your table and receive wonderful service.Chances are, you will be graced by the presence of Mike the owner, who couldn’t be more friendly and personable. You will see him delivering food, busing tables, and helping elderly out to their car to make sure they’re in their vehicle safely. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and our meal! Can’t wait to go back!P.S. For less than what you would pay at Aiello‘s, you could drive south to Oaks Inn in Endicott and get a true five-star Italian meal.”
“Lovely little neighborhood gem. Friendly staff. Great food. I particularly enjoyed the fried fish. The breading was crispy and delicious and the portion was generous for the price. This place is worth a visit!”
“Food is wonderful. Very clear and love the staff.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly...Wheelchair accessibility: It's walk in and chairs can be moved.”
“Fantastic place! My wife and I went here while at the Greek Oeak resort and we both loved it. I got the Virgil Elk burger which was delicious and not the least bit gamey. My wife got the meatloaf which was moist and full of flavor, as were the mashed potatoes she got on the side. The bacon the meatloaf may have been just slightly overcooked but this didn’t impact how it tasted. Cheese bread and this liquefied garlic butter was served with the meal which was also delicious. The server was attentive and professional. Would definitely come back again. Some of the best food I ever had in Cortland County.Parking: As the restaurant is at a ski resort, parking is shared with the resort. The parking lot was pretty full most of the time, it being a school break.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is upscale but casual dress code. There were a number of families with kids.”
“Satisfactory service, great drinks, and amazing food. The french fries were probably one of the best I've ever had. If you've finished a trip at Green Peak Mountain Resort, then this restaurant is a must when you're ready to settle down.”
“Stopped in here quick to use the restroom and get my grandson some munchkins before getting back on the road and the staff was great! Pleasant, joked around with me a bit and answered my question with ease. Only complaint is the restroom was a bit of a mess.”
“I order from here probably once a month, I absolutely love their food. We have never gotten a bad meal, it’s always warm, and the portions are great. This family is so nice and I enjoy going in and seeing them, I highly recommend ”
“The food was fresh but the hashbrown patties were a bit starchy / floppy yet. I don't appreciate the kiosks instead of someone to greet you and take your order. In order to get someone to take your order in a conventional manner, you have to wait for someone on the kitchen staff to be free for a moment. Other than that, as expected, and no errors with our order.”
“This place is a treasure. The bartender and locals treated us like we were born there. The smell of the wood stove felt like home. I could close my eyes and imagine the days where the Schlitz flowed like wine! Make sure you get a t-shirt!!”
