“Traveling home from a wedding in Columbus OH to home in Maine we pinned the halfway point to stop over. We discovered this gem of a restaurant of MJ's on the Susquehanna River in historic Owego, NY. We dined ohe deck by the river. We ate the butter lettuce pockets of vegetables and a Greek salad. DELICIOUS! Having been so sensible with our vegetarian supper we shared the pan cooked chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and caramel sauce. Great service, decor, funk factor, clean and good. We may live 8 hours away, but this dining experience makes it worth returning for. Plus there are plenty of interesting places to see in this part of NY.”

“A hidden gem in the price chopper plaza! I was pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness of the restaurant, friendliness of the employees and quality of their cuisine! My husband ordered the beef negamaki and stated it was better than another famous japanese restaurant that we frequented. I had chicken teryaki and it made my mouth water. My daughter loves sushi and thenportion was impressive. She ate it all. Will be ordering again!”

My late fiancée and I were regulars. Brought a tear to my eye to see one of our favorite waitresses to welcome us. Heather was always so cheery and accommodating . Love the gift shop as well. “I bought a pie in June and it was the best pizza, hands down, I’ve had in the triple city area. Couldn’t finish it all so I froze 2 slices with the foodsaver and just reheated tonight in the microwave, and then hit it in the cast iron pan to crisp up the dough and it was like the day it was served. They take pride in their work and use the best ingredients in everything. Chicken salad is amazing too. Five star service, price is right and family owned. We should all be talking about this place!”
