Recently had the opportunity to visit Beardslee castle to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. We were able to get a private room for a more intimate, special celebration. Service was superb, food was excellent In a beautiful setting. Everyone in the group was extremely satisfied with their meals.

Elegant dining in a elegant space. Maybe hit on a bad night. We were a party of 5, promptly seated but service was very slow (over 3 hours for the meal) and the meal was mediocre.

Working with Lynn was so easy and she answered all our questions and was always really quick to respond. She made the entire planning process so simple and stress-free. We originally planned an outdoor ceremony but had to switch at the last minute to inside and Lynn and her staff were so flexible in making the switch and even set up the dining room for photos, moved all the tables for the ceremony, and then replaced all the tables. They were all so accommodating and kind. We did not rent the entire Castle, but did have the getting room for the whole day and that was super helpful. We also opted in for getting ready snacks and they were amazing. The hors d'oeuvres were outstanding and my guests are still telling me how good the food was a week later. If food is important to you, this is the place for your wedding. All in all, my husband and I couldn't have been happier and loved the entire experience of working with Lynn and having our wedding at Beardslee. Truly a perfect day.

Went to the Murder Mystery Dinner 5/30/25. Not worth the money. Family style dinner was not enough for a table of 9 and food came out lukewarm after waiting almost 2 hours from the salad/bread. Should have had some kind of food on the table between salad and dinner. I might go back for dinner in the main dining room but I would never ever go to their murder mystery dinner again. Way too long and loud.

Took an hour to get the food and didn’t sit us in the basement when it was on our reservation. The drinks at the end tasted like the back of a Nintendo Switch SD Card, if you know you know. And the water tasted like eggs and my French fries were drier than the Sahara desert.

Went to a murder mystery show. It was a lot of fun, had family style dinner. I recommend it. The show was upstairs. I don't know if there is an elevator.

We had a group of 12 for dinner. Our friendly servers continually tried to give the wrong items to the wrong person, but we sorted it out quickly. Food was fantastic and the beer selection was again top notch. Wonderful evening out!

The food was excellent. I got a burger, and it was amazing. So was the dessert and tea. The death by chocolate cake was incredible. The fries with the burger were excellent. It's a castle atmosphere with a bunch of rock walls. The appetizers were also amazing. The fried calamari was fancy and had been shaped very straight. It smelled very good. The water had an awkward smell. I recommend getting bottled water. The waitress was very nice. Our experience was pretty good. The lighting was old-fashioned as well. It is pricy, but it was worth it.

Staff lacks empathy to rushed and detached. Fire place would have been nicer if someone tended to it~ as signs says for staff to do. Disappointed in customer service. Went to the dungeon for a drink waited, waited, waited, and was bypassed several times then finally service. Did you know servers are eating food while chkg out people in encove by kitchen door who's food are they eating? That was all observed while waiting for staff to tend to fire ? finally happened after much patience. Bearslee ~wait~ castle

Went for the dinner & show. The wife and I had a blast. The food was great. The atmosphere of the people and the wait staff was outstanding.
Start with a drink in the basement. The fun only gets better as you walk up the stairs. The castle really sets the mood. We will be back again. 10 out of ten.

We planned a birthday dinner for my mom n my son we had reservations for 4pm Our waitress seemed very new or very distracted either way she was not very attentive to our table. Around 430 she came over to take our drink order and my 11 yr old niece asked her what they had to drink and she said “here is our beer and wine list “ to which my sister said “ummmmm she’s 11” And our waitress said “oh really lol “ And my son ordered a mixed drink (just trying his luck) and the waitress took his order without asking for an I’D again my sister said “ no he’s not of age” and our waitress said “oh really? Maybe I should I’D him” I said no he’s only 17!!! Again she said “oh then I should I’D him” ummmm your job is to not serve minors!!! Around 4:45 she came and took our app order which came out around 5:15 at that time she took our dinner order! Our dinner order didn’t get to us until around 6pm! It was warm at most and unfortunately not great. We spent around $500 on this meal that we probably could have got better at a chain restaurant. The experience,the grounds, the castle was AMAZING 10/10 recommend!! The food and service I would give a negative review 10000000%
