What a hidden gem this place is!! Authentic greek dishes, beyond delicious ! We had the whole snapper special. The fish couldn’t be more fresh. Filled with flavor. The sides it came with equally as fresh and good. Lemon potatoes. Sautéed.spinach. Artichoke hearts. Amazing. Can’t wait to come back and try other dishes.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant as it was recommended by friends but maybe we ordered the wrong thing. I'll start with the good. Loved the pita bread and the chick pea salad was good as well. The little eggplant side dish was tiny. The lemon potatoes under lemoned. We ordered the pink snapper special which was described so wonderfully by the host (maybe owner). It was supposed to be sweeter than red snapper which I do like. We were looking forward to sharing it as it was pink snapper for two. It lacked flavor. I would not order it again. They filleted it but there were lots of bones as well. And the charge was $94.95. I didn't expect that either. So not going back but again maybe the reasonably priced salmon would have been delicious. The service was great. The server and host were very nice and personable.

The food was superb. The owner was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The murals on the walls of Greece ,with a background of Greek music, made us feel as if we were truly on the Greek Islands. Highly recommend the whole fish although everything else we ordered: lamb souvlaki, eggplant, and baklava was excellent.

On behalf of The Center for the Women of New York, I want to extend a huge thank you to Greek Islands for their incredibly generous and delicious donation to our Taste of the World at Fort Totten gala.
They provided mini spinach and feta pies as well as mini cheese pies that were an absolute delight. The flaky, buttery phyllo dough was perfectly crisp and each bite was filled with savory, flavorful fillings. The balance of spinach and feta was excellent, and the cheese pies were rich and satisfying. Our guests couldn't get enough of them!
It is because of beloved local businesses like Greek Islands that we are able to successfully raise vital funds for our mission of supporting women in the New York community. Their commitment to giving back shows a true dedication to the neighborhood, and it is exactly why I make a point to support businesses that care.

I'm sorry but this was not good at all. I ordered a gyro sandwich with everything in it, a souvlaki sandwich and Avgolemono. The sandwiches were small. The gyro sandwich only has the white sauce and 1 piece lettuce. The souvlaki was small and lacking meat and the soup could really use salt, a lot of salt
The place is adorable! Its a shame cause I would have love to had recommend this place as a date night.
This restaurant is a little gem of authentic , delicious homemade style Greek cuisine Everything is so savory made with fresh ingredients of the highest quality. IWe particularly Iove their exquisite grilled pink snapper and their heavenly ekmek dessert! It's heaven on earth !

Wonderful Father's Day dinner with the family. Every course was excellent. Started with the dips trio and calamari. Fantastic fish-for-two and the delicious soft shell crabs had us saying "wow". The avgolemono soup was the best anywhere. Fabulous wine selection. Desserts were yummy.

Wow!!! This restaurant has been here for 20 years and you can tell from the love and passion in how they serve and treat customers! Food was amazing! Perfect for a family dinner. The Branzino was fresh and well prepared. Appetizers (calamari, bread and chick peas) were great. Parking on the street or residential. Definitely coming back!
