Wow!! Just wow!!
So impressed with how good this was. You can tell the owners are heavily involved with quality control. I had to wait at first because it was Friday evening and the seating was limited, but it was so worth the wait.
The burger was spot on. I spent $14 on a deluxe burger and added bacon. Every ingredient was perfect. The bacon was incredible. I would (hands down) say this was the best burger I have ever had and the best fries I have ever had.

Double Cheese is a nice place with a lovely atmosphere and excellent, caring, and friendly staff. It is a new small pub in Liverpool with trendy urban style decor, and a clean, bright, and welcoming atmosphere. The food is really good, and the burgers are SO YUMMY. They offer juicy smash burgers, like the double double delux burger and the Hot Like your Mama Burger, which is hot but manageable for a spicy lover. Burgers are thin and cooked to grey but all the toppings and seasonings make them tasty. Fries were ok and might be under seasoned. Onion rings are hot and crispy. They also offer simple delicious apps, a special cocktail menu with or without alcohol, and a Margarita or a pickle martini. Staff is super friendly, and the service is attentive. This is the same owners as XO Taco. Check hours before you go as they close earlier than the typical pub.
