Foods pretty good, It's pretty laid back, so expect a wait at times, nothing wrong with that if you have the time.

Looks like it did in the 80s...food was greasy for hibachi cooking, has that uniform blandness and sameness of flavor, almost as if they figure nobody can tell between Japanese and Chinese food...staff was friendly, service was prompt, kids enjoyed the show, but there are better places for this cuisine....EDIT: having returned as part of a large party to eat,it seems they've nicely updated some of the interior, and it seems my food was better than last time..fresher tasting shrimp and veggies, delicious fried rice. Service was fantastic as ever. I like when I go back somewhere and it's better than last time. Cheers.

We go here quite a bit. Anytime my in laws are visiting or for birthdays or just when we really want the food. The set up is pretty and the servers are great. The food portions are very large and obviously we love the food. I only have a few complaints and to me they are small and wouldn't prevent me from going again (except one but I'll explain). First is their decor has gotten a bit...lazy? Its June and they still have fall and Christmas decor up. Also their waterfalls are never on and the area where the TV is in the waiting area jist has a bunch of cords hanging loose which looks bad. Otherwise the decor is nice. Second I always get their teriyaki chicken cooked in back and the chicken is always very hard snd chewy. I dont think anyone getting hibachi has said the same but from the back the chicken is almost not worth it to me. I've almost asked for just a large plate of the veggies and teriyaki sauce without the chicken many times. Third that luckily wasnt a huge issue for me but could be for someone else...I have a lot of allergies namely seafood so I get mine cooked in the kitchen. Once and thankfully only once they brought my rice out ans it tasted amazing but very different. Suddenly they rushed out snd took my bowl from me very quickly and only said sorry it was the wrong thing and dumped the bowl out. Then they brought me new and never said another word. Turned out they used the oyster sauce because I had a minor reaction to it. Thankfully it wasnt one of my worst allergies but could have been a disaster for someone else. That's the one and only time and it hasnt stopped me from going but I do still get nervous now since then. Forth and final issue is since I do get my food cooked in back I dont know when it'll be done and multiple times its taken them until everyone else in my group was done and ready to leave to get my food and I had to just take my food with me. I was never offered a discount or refunded meal and anything at all for these things which would have been nice in hindsight. But as bad as some of these things may sound we still love it there because if how good the food is how nice the restaurant in general is and how accommodating they are with allergies.
Ps we love your cooks but other hibachi places have a lot more interaction with the guests while some of your cooks barely say a word or even look up from what they are doing to see if everyone is enjoying the show and food. You do have some newer cooks that are very fun and upbeat but we rarely see them for some reason.

While I would love to give Ichiban a 5-star rating overall, sadly it just doesn't do it anymore. Our server Kayla was great but our reservation was at 6:30 pm and we weren't seated until about 7 pm and the cook (assuming there was only 1 possibly 2 on) didn't even get to our table until 8:15ish pm. The food was just OK. The KIDS at the table got extremely large servings and the adults literally were plated what was left. Again, no serious complaints because we all know hibachi is always good as leftovers the next day and most children don't do leftovers. 😄 The biggest issue was the fact that every single person in our group either needed a toilet immediately after our dinner or required one for the ENTIRE the next day...We brought home what wasn't eaten and our older kiddos heated it up when they got home from work. They didn't even make it to the gym after eating it. They had to turn around and come home in a hurry. Not sure what you changed besides the management since we were there last but overall this hibachi was NOT a great experience! We've definitely had many other pleasant experiences at Ichiban over the years.

Good food and entertainment but you needed more wait staff.

Ichiban has become a tradition in our family for celebrating birthdays and special occasions. The hibachi chef was personable and entertaining. The food was delicious. Ample parking.

Kid-friendliness: Kids were enthralled with the Hibachi chef's performance.

We visit Ichiro at least once a month. Always greated with a friendly hello. The service is always top notch. George and Vivian are our servers and never disappoint. We highly recommend sushi here, have not had Hibachi yet, but everyone who is there seems to enjoy it.

Went there to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary, was very disappointed. The experience of the hibachi and the chef was great but he made a few mistakes. The chairs were dirty and sticky! I had noodles on my chair that I just cleaned up bc I didn't see the waitress right away. I had food stuck to my arm that was left from the diners before us that they must have not cleaned up! The food was just ok. I thought the chicken was a little dry and not enough teriyaki sauce!! Veggies were the best on the plate. I don't think I will go back any time soon!! Not worth the price you pay one bit!! They need to up date their dinning rooms, get new chairs, up date the atmosphere and clean way better! On a good note the waitress was very nice.
