Service was good and they were friendly but overall it was a bad experience compared to what it was before. Watched a woman sweep half a pile of food up and decided that was all she wanted to do and left the rest in the rug, a rug that has been there since the day they opened 🤮. Upgraded our steak and it tasted old, vegetables are almost non existent and they now replace most of the veggies with large shards of carrots 🤮.and I loved the bean sprouts which you could barely see. Ordered tea and it tasted fermented. The Chef was funny but failed at every trick he attempted. He did get the shrimp in the pocket and catch 2 in a bowl. Then because we split our party in 2 they automatically put gratuity on it. We won’t be going back.

Stopped here on a work trip. We ate at table, instead of a hibachi grill. The receptionist said the wait for a hibachi grill would be long since we didn't have a reservation, but tables were available. The first waitress took our drink order, delivered them, and didn't return. Another waitress took over. We ordered appetizers and entrees. The appetizers never arrived. The food was over-cooked. The shrimp was rubbery. The steak was ordered medium-rare and showed up well done. The fried rice was tasted smoky, like it was burned.

This was special for my cousins graduation. It is pricey, but it is fish and they cook it on a grill right at your table. Accommodates groups and they are very friendly. You get a lot of food. I did nitice that they may need to deep clean or replace the carpet.

We had the owner’s nephew cook for us. Food was amazing and best flavor we ever had.

The food at Ichiban Hibachi Steakhouse was delicious and exactly what we expected. The quality of the food was great, portions were good, and overall the dinner itself was enjoyable. Service from both the waiter and hibachi chef was okay and nothing major stood out during the meal.
Unfortunately, the night ended on a negative note during what was supposed to be a birthday celebration. After leaving a cash tip on the table, we wrote $0 on the receipt, which is standard so the card is not double charged. The manager interrupted our conversation confronted us about the tip before even checking the table, which felt inappropriate and honestly put a distasteful ending on the entire experience. It was disappointing because the food itself was very good, but customer interactions at the end matter too. I have been going to this establishment for over 20 years, and have known this manager for just as long, definitely could have been handled better.

Start by saying the service was ok, the place was dingy and dirty, food is overpriced compared most other hibachi places. Only dinner menu. I took about 25 minutes to get our drinks and there was one other table. I've been to a hibachi that serves chicken noodle soup, and waterlogged ginger salad. It only comes with white rice, its an upcharge for both fired rice or noodles. The noodles were literally linguine and very bland. The chicken was overcooked. Other people in our party never even got the white rice. The chef was friendly, they did attempt to have decent service. But wouldn't recommend it to others.

Haven’t been in a while and won’t be going back. The food was terrible. Shrimp tempura was sprinkled with some sort of seasoning salt. The dipping sauce was inedible, salty, and not like a tempura sauce in the slightest. Also two fishy-tasting and small pieces of shrimp, one sweet potato and zucchini medallion, and one small piece of broccoli was $13.50. Hibachi was the worst I’ve had and went unfinished. Rubbery shrimp and scallops. As before, the shrimp tasted off. The place was also filthy. Sticky floors, the most disgusting high chair, menus that were stained, sticky, and tattered. Sushi was okay, fried rice was good (but an upcharge with hibachi when it’s normally standard fare, even when I went years ago). Service was good. That’s the only reason I’m not leaving one star.

This time the food was trash! Usually great but the rice was mush and the shrimp was tough and tasted like perfume. Happy V'day <3

The hibachi grill experience was a highlight, with the chef entertaining us while cooking the food right in front of us. I had the filet mignon, and it was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The vegetables were sautéed just right, and the fried rice was delicious.Definitely worth the visit if you're looking for great food and entertainment.

We ordered takeout dinner (for four) over the phone from this Japanese Steakhouse restaurant and went there to pick it up after half an hour. Although prices are a bit on the high side, the quantities are hefty and the food was delicious.
